You know what occurred to me? The ports on their necks really should have better security, like a physical lock or something which cant be released without the owner's express permission. People plugging USBs into other guy's necks like it's nothing.

one thing i would hate to do ( i always wanted robo eyes, because i hate that my vision has gotten so bad) is have fake eyes. because at any time someone can hack you, shut them off, and your blind. literally have no idea whats around you, or if there was an emp of some kind and it fucks with your systems.

I definitely prefer taking the NetWatch deal. Alt frying all of the Voodoo netrunners makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside.

The best outcome imo is let the VDB kill the net watch agents in this mission then kill the VDB after the Alt mission.

@Potato King Johnny's most tragic flaw is that he's unable to see the good in people despite what they are. Hanako and Takemura are both good people. They have different perspectives and priorities given their positions, but they do care about you even though they're corpos. Hanako even offers you a job after you complete their ending and seems to feel bad they could not truly save you.

Netwatch dude is such a badass when you think about it. He outsmarts both V and the entire Voodoo Boys and uses the Animals to cover his tracks.

Placide treats you badly, plans to use you and then throw you away, Brigitte values you solely for your chip, which she intends to use (and you in turn, thereby killing you) for her own safety against the rogue AIs behind the blackwall. She even says all of this to your face and if you survive outright tells you that you shouldn’t have. The Netwatch guy is kinda sus I guess lmao. EZ choice

Well if you kill the Netwatch Agent you get his condom...

Cutting a deal with NetWatch and watching the VDB being fried like KFC is the best choice you can do in Cyberpunk 2077.

I find it interesting that Brigitte doesn't tell Placide about V having the bio chip. Makes you think they even keep some of their own people uninformed as well as the people they use.

Cool to see what could have been, no regrets immediately killing Brigitte and placid now haha

Went with Netwatch because this lad is such a smooth talker and he likes Westerns

Thats the point. Unforgiven is almost an anti-western. It deconstructs most of its treasured tropes. Given his cliched view of westerns it really isnt a film suited to him.

I merced netwatch, then I Merced the VooDoo boys, perfect fucking deal.

Decided to side with NetWatch on my second playthrough. I would have loved to get to know the Voodoo Boys and their culture, but they fried Evelyn's brain and then tried to fry V's as well. And then they don't even want to help you with the whole Blackwall situation. So really, what's the point?

@@Fresh720 That's what they needed johnny's construct for, its essentially bait. So regardless of if v was present or not they would've done the same, use the chips ID to lure alt so they can cut a deal with her, which is what they did with you present, just leaving you beyond the wall in the dark net as bait for Alt, then alt found you and brought you back to the safe net, they vdb's didn't even count on you surviving past the wall.

Step 1: Cut deal with Netwatch Step 2: Kill the Netwatch agent anyway because he tries to kill you Step 3: Get saved by Alt and watch the VDBs get turned to KFC Step 4: Finish of the rest of the VDBs and get revenge on Placide

Killing placede was one of my highlights in that game...

Killed them after I got past the black wall.

I despise the Voodoo Boys, after doing everything and trying to be on their good side I get fucking threatened by Flacide. Never helping them in anymore playthroughs, gonna annihilate them everytime.

Btw if you incapacitate Bryce right away and not let him talk Placide will try to lie his ass off

The whole conversation with Placide at the start of the quest makes it obvious that you aren't supposed to come back from this mission. I don't know how you can trust the Voodo Boys and not take the agents deal

Thank God I decided to make a deal with the agent.

Really loss there isn't an option in the start of the GIM mission when Placide grabs your link to get up and walk away, then circle, return later and figure out what's going on. Also, should be an option for INT high enough to get out VDB or NetWatch viruses on your own.

Fun fact: Shane Taylor provides the voice of the Netwatch Agent aka Doc Roe from Band of Brothers.🤩

I didn’t get any of these because apparently if you aim at him he starts shooting. I didn’t even want to kill him, I just thought aiming at him would stop him from pulling something funny

Funny that Johnny talks shit for accepting the Netwatch guys deal but not when you agree to help the Voodoo boys. Placide was waaaaay more sus than the Netwatch agent.

killed the agent in my first playthrough. realized i fucked up, and contented myself in killing the boys. punched the shit out of placide and took his coat but left him alive. got a cute little message from him afterward.

No matter the choice we still release her and get access to netrunner, so no vhoice. The outcome is wether gand is going to die or remain friendly.

Felt so good when I ripped him to shreds with my Mantis Blades!

Not trying to read up on any spoilers cause I plan on playing this game a 2nd time, but I accidentally killed him. Little did I know actually aiming down the sights at him just bypasses the whole conversation and he starts attacking you. RIP netwatch agent.....

Funny thing my first play thru lost all trust in the Voodoo bois when Placide grabbed V’s arm. Personally I have personal space boundaries, break that for no reason and there is zero chance I will trust again. So siding with Netwatch for a moment was easy choice

Had no idea gambit from x-men is part of cyberpunk lore.

Placide bout got taught a history lesson after fuckin me over.

Glad I saw this video. I felt like an idiot for killing netwatch man and getting played so I redid that part. Then I got curious. But the save data got lost. I thought the voodoo boys might think you're a zombie or something and I'd get to scare them. But no. They really did leave their religion in Haiti. Just kept some of the symbolism.

It was this point when I realized Silverhand is just just negative. Less than half of what he says is actually useful. For the most part he's just an angry man.

He's the ultimate unreliable narrator. His memories are wrong (Arasaka tower did NOT go down the way he remembered it, according to Cyberpunk RPG source material), he basically killed Alt by unplugging her in 2013, he's wrong about Judy, he's wrong about Netwatch, he's wrong about most things until toward the end of the game.

I feel like in the DLC if you side now with netwatch you will be B@D's enemy since VDBoys respect and work with him/her. If you side with VDBoys then you get to see who pulls Netwatch's strings and if they have anything to do with the Jefferson Perales thing.

Does anybody know what movie the Netwatch agent is playing on the screen in this scene? That looks like Marlon Brando at 0:06 and it's been killing me to find out what movie it is, but I haven't seen anyone post it online. EDIT: found it! It's One Eyed Jack's, and that is indeed a young Brando.

Second time through the game I took out Netwatch, then got back at the Voodoo boys...take out both problematic organizations.

Bryce is a great character

Yeah, trauma team and maxtac are hyped up for absolutely no reason. They don't do anything and its a shame because they are badass. I loved cyberpunk, but man the game had breadth, but no depth.

This whole mission was V being played and underestimated; both sides weren’t counting on you making it back to the safenet with ALT. You can tell the VDBs were cheesed with the end results, fuck em tho.

You should trigger the dialog with placide first when u enter cinema. Just go back to the cinema entrance and enter slowly again. Happen to me as well

It's a shame that they cut so much content as it makes this mission So much weaker. Just the info in the agents laptop could have gone on to a better arcing story line.

So I sided with the Agent then after the conversation killed him. Is there any consequences?
