Great haul! I was wondering what would happen if a digital was clipped for those OTC coupons. But I agree that’s probably not supposed to happen and will probably get fixed at some point I would think!

yeah definitely not supposed to happen. It looks like in the code behind the scenes it looks first if there is a qualifying item - and if there it is takes off the coupon value or the remaining balance of the item regardless if a coupon already applied to it. After ECBs, $5 off $20 CRT and $3 digital coupon it must have calculated that there was a max value of $4.88 remaining on the Tide pods so it took off $4.88. Like you said I'm sure they will add in code so that if a mfr coupon already came off it rejects the OTC.

Hi Kayla, I have a free Loreal mascara crt to use this week that I earned from the program like the hair color. I noticed you used your hair color crt in your 10/70 transaction. Will the cost of my free mascara count towards my 10/70 transaction? I don’t think I heard you explain that. Thanks so much!

Hi Betty! I should have explained what I was doing with the Clairol in the $10 off $70 but I forgot to!! The $9 that the free hair color crt takes off does not count towards the $70. So I didn’t include the free hair color’s value when I was making sure I hit $70. The free L’Oréal mascara doesn’t have a max value so whatever most expensive mascara you’re getting won’t count towards a spend CRT. I hope that helps

Silly question, but how do you get CRTs! I’m new to couponing. When I went to the red box to put my phone number, it said I had no CRTs 😩

CRTs should start showing up at the top of the deals and rewards section of the cvs app for you within a week of creating your cvs account and activating your extracare program within your account. If you sent all your CRTs to your card by clicking the + button on them then they won’t print at the machine. So I only send manufacturer coupons to card each Sunday and leave the CRTs unclipped so they’ll print when I put in my phone number

So what is the difference if you send CRT to card or use the paper coupon that prints from red box. How does it affect my transactions?

​​​@@normarios1845 if you send to card they will not print out at the box. If you print at box you must use crt within 2 days of expiration (which she said they are stopping taking soon). Mine will not take after expiration already. 😢

You deals are not going to happen. You can't double up the coupons and many of us do not have all the crts you get.

@@missinfinitiii if you print out your CRTs at the red box each week (don’t send the CRTs to card within your app) you would have the week old paper version of CRTs to use! Get curious not furious. If you see something that I do that you’d want to be able to do ask how you can rather than complain. Now if you don’t want to ever use day expired CRTs that’s fine - but the CVS deals have been so slow that using those CRTs from the previous week is truly what helps make deals free or moneymakers - so I’m doing what I can to make the absolute best out of the deals we’re given.

@@kaylakouponsi saw that they might let it slide the first time as a one time exception but after that, they will have a 0 tolerance for expired crts

@@hashybrowni I will let you guys know what is going on next week! My store manager I check out with is super cool so she will let me see what the screen says if it is rejecting day expired CRTs.
