Those 12V cummins engines are super extremely popular here in Canada people buy whole dodge rams for them. Thats a 94 to 97 P pump. In my opinion thats the best engine ever made. You can make a 100hp for free out of that by grinding the fuel pin and adjusting the star wheel. On marketplace place here they only last about a day for 2500$ CAD. My buddys got a 97 dodge ram with a 12V 5.9 and its got 1.5 million kilometers on it as a semi truck tire repair service on the 401. Totally loyal except for the stupid auto trans which was swapped to manual.

Dear Joseph, This CVRT Sultan was somewhat of a bathtub but it’s clever that you guys got the army vehicle running again so she can be added to your battalion. I think you already own more in the meantime than the Dutch army😂. Look forward to your next vlog and send you love from the Netherlands

I used to be attached to the Army Air Corps and they used sultans as radio command vehicles. On exercises in Germany they would break down on the way out, the vehicle mechanics would work on it all week, just for it to break down on the way back. They covered far more miles on the back of trailers than they did under their own power.

My tightwad, broke teenager older brother hedged on replacing or rebuilding the one on his '55 Chevy until I finally pulled the power off it the last time he sent me under to bash it, the next time I was under it I was putting the starter in, ending my non remunerated career as starter basher on THAT car. 😁 👍🇺🇸😎

I used to be a mechanic in the Australian army we used them as recovery vehicles, ended being replaced by Macks with a twin boom instead of a crane. Have worked on both, much preferred the Cummins powered 816, only ever saw one 543, it wasn't operational.

Was it from one of the compartments in that tracked military vehicle? I'm not able to think of any other place than those two.
