I’m the single friend. When you’re married, I just assume you’re busy, being with you spouse, planning your life, securing your finance, planning on kids, houses, so…

I get you and that's the giving benefit of doubt I mentioned but that also is not a ground to cut someone off from being friends just because they got married.

Sis girl ❤️❤️…. You’re so beautiful and real with friendship, I sincerely don’t know how you do it but then I give it to you 💯 when it comes to friendship /sisterhood 💫.

Well said it is never easy switching from single to married life but all in all as friends we should give each other grace & not break or neglect friendships that add value to our lives. At the end of the day we should keep an open mind and also be ready to move on incases where friendships can’t be salvaged or have reached their end. Lovely vlog

Spot on! I think it's just a clear case of treating people how we will love to be treated. I can't imagine loosing people of value because of relationship status.

I love your contents ALWAYS. I love how you took this topic in a calm manner and basically shared your own experience not someone else's. Stay happy and beautiful Chilo 🤗 I belong to the group that have sense and still have their same friends even though we don't speak for eternity the friendship is vibrant when we do.

If you are my friends you would have even met my parents & siblings because my parents are the type that bring your friends home let's meet them. So our parents even get to know each other somehow😅. They attend my friends wedding etc even have their number o and still chat with them till now. I have been married for 8 years and I am still friends even with both my single and married friends till now. My husband knew my friends before marriage and even those I made during marriage & they are all cordial with each other that even our Spouse's know each other lol. I think like you mentioned you need to be understanding and not been one sided like my kind of person I am the one that checks up regularly on my friends & trust me I am busy but it just comes naturally to me. My friends have never for once have any issues or threatened even those that are single I carry them along on what's happening & they also update me and we pray together regularly. When God gives you your tribe (friends) that indeed loves you trust me you are blessed. This is my longest comment on KZread 🤦‍♂️🙆‍♂️

Thank you so much for taking out the time to post this comment. I totally totally get you because your way if friendship is almost same as mine, most of my friends are close to my parents and even now that I am not in the country, I can't count how many times they came through for my parents on my behalf. Intentional and valuable friendships are so beautiful to be honest

I get this 💯. Even when you explain to some of them that you are not that type of married friend, they still stay away from from. But the ones that will stay will stay.

Happy for you! Glad you were intentional about keeping your good and valuable friends and vice versa. I am that single friend that got cut off a few times by “Just Married” friends. It hurts. As a result, for subsequent friends that got married, I would be the first to cut you off the moment I left your wedding. Well, I’ve grown pass that now as I realized not all friends would behave same way! Some were different. One particular friend told me…”You can’t do that”!!! 😂😂😂😂

Intentionality and value is important in maintaining friendship. I get spouse may have influence but having value for your friendship and being intentional (because nothing happens on the grounds of just because) is a safe way to go. PS: one of my married friends I keep hunting her and she knows herself 🤣🤣🤣. In this friendship, we no fit forget ourselves because I'm living under your skin😂🥰

Exactly! Exactly! Exactly! Absolutely nothing happens on that grounds, wether it's friendship or romantic relationship or even acquaintances. There is always a certain degree of intentionality needed at different points. I love you boo 😘
