I was just telling my friend that I wanted to go to GIA when I was a teenager. That was 44 years ago. I wonder where I would have landed if I had chosen that path.

Awesome Amethyst geode but that Turquoise on Chris’ Bolo tie is impressive! Very nice!
Fantastic! My old man was a hobby geologist with a bit of palaeontology thrown in and had a couple of small cut geodes many decades back. They were always passed down to kids in the family, so I don't even know who has them now. But they are always beautiful to see and great fun to own!
I’ve got tons of amethyst cathedrals, 100lb ones, 60lb ones down to table top ones they’ll all beautiful from the galaxy to the druzy to the lavender to the dark jelly purple My favorite kind of geode

I have dreamt of owning a cathedral my whole life; literally since I was about 7 years old. This will be my year. Honestly, I’m only at the part of the video where a big piece cracked and broke off, but I felt my heart break with it. I’ll be 45 in April, and I am manifesting an amethyst cathedral this year. Wish me luck!

I like his huge bolo tie
I agree with the comment below. Hearing protection is a must. You might want to where waterproof jackets or aprons as well. Love the crystals!
I just found out about your channel, I love it its really amazing, I hope you guys get to do more hands on videos like this!!!
Awesomeness! Love the turquoise bolero
Gorgeous!
For future reference you should have cut it from a line that circumnavigated the whole geode, placing the cutting disc from the top instead of cutting it from the side to avoid a crack or fracture.
It nice to see because I also seller of gems very nice keep it up hope we will see more
Quartz dust is very bad for your lungs. The water helps, but the dust remaining after the water evaporates is also hazardous, so be careful when cleaning up.
Great job 💞
My dream has always been to have a large Amethyst Geode and use additional Amethyst crystals to make a water feature for my home. It is my birthstone and my birth sign is a water sign. Someday. The second one you showed would work perfectly for a water feature.
Beautiful 💜💜💜
Thank you for a cool video
A very delicate job.😎
very nice your video i am from rio grande do sul i live near the city of amethyst do sul where there is the largest amethyst deposit in brazil i am happy to know that our state is remembered for one of our riches a big hug to friends across the ocean

Keren sekali crystal Amethystnya, di Pasar Rawabening - Indonesia juga banyak yang sudah di olah dan di jadikan pajangan, terimakasih🙏🙏🙏👍
Everyone wants the one that looks like an arched doorway! lolol
Is there a channel like this with no talking?
Imagine drinking grape soda out of a purple geode
AGAIN WOULD LIKE TO SPONSER YOU GUYS!!
Question…are these geodes where the amethyst crystals come from to make amethyst jewelry? Keep doing you!🔥🔥

The best deal I ever got was when I happened to pass by a 'Psychic & Mineral Expo' in Los Angeles on the morning after their last day. They allowed me to walk through and look at what remained. I was able to purchase a carved geod, of a beautiful, amyethest heart. When I returned home, out of state, the single mineral, metaphysical shop in town, had a similar amythest heart for $450! I mean, we just can't continue placing profit above helping and healing everything, everyone. Thank you both💎
How does one pursue an education and career in mining and geology? I would love my college student son to look in this direction. He has the creativity and the intelligence.
Nicely done. I'd add hearing protection next time. Stunning geode.
I live in Brazil and I've visited Rio Grande do Sul a few times. Never knew about their amethysts. I usually buy from Minas Gerais or Bahia. I must find a way to buy these RS stones ❤
There is a town called Amethyst in Rio grande do Sul, Brazil.
This was so exiting Could you say sold on the amethyst second from the bottom in the description?

honestly the amethyst geode looks delicious to eat 🕴
Muito bom 💯👏👏👍🤝
I wish I can show y'all mines. It's blue and I had it for years, it doesn't break nomatter how many times I drop it and its so many crystals inside I can't tell.
Great work!! Some shock proof gloves would help your hands not to start shacking so bad. Learned that from weed eating for hours at a time 😉
Hi, Absolutely stunning. How much does it cost?
Surprise, yay, ohhh look at that. WOW I had no idea would look like that in side. Really, really, really, so you couldn't see through that hole.
11:11 Aye Aye Aye
What is the best way to clean the big geodes? I have a few and can’t figure out how to clean them from dust build up.

Where can one find a writer who is passionate about gemstone?
cool
I have one small half round, that I inherited from my dad with Amethyst in there, and some smoky quartz
Good job, after 20 seconds in with "spoilers" I don't have to watch the rest...
Can I break my amethyst catheadral if it’s already been halved I want to make it into chunks
Đà đẹp và sang trọng 👍👍👍
I have a very large amethyst cathedral with gem quality all inside that I am looking to sell could you tell me where is a good place to look into selling it??
Could you do an episode about why diamond, corundum gemstones and beryl gemstones don't form in geodes?
Which saw or cutter was used plz tell sir
@symonrocks9847
2 жыл бұрын
I can help with some information on lapidary saws. Lortone is one company, there are several mostly in the USA, they are expensive. Two types, automatic feed and gravity feed, gravity feed is lowest priced and has less parts, they can be faster cutting. Look at masonary saws, they cost less but the cut is not as deep. Making one or having one made is a serious option and probably a lot cheaper. Good luck
If you lay them on old tires, the rocks won't move when you cut
I karabi, from baruipur, want to get these beautiful violet parts How can I get?
Hi guys I do want to connect to u, since I do have source of Amythest & smokey quartz. Jean from India
OMG, that is the tallest geode I have ever seen.😲😃🪨 To know it come from Brazil🇧🇷 and other places🇲🇽 you can find geode is interesting.🤔 How you use a big saw🪚 to cut it is both cool and scary😰 and it's filled with beautiful amethyst is amazing too. Which is my favorite gemstone.🥰💜💎 I wish I could have one. Also nice gem bolo tie. Nice video and hope to see another one like this.😉👍💎
❤
I wish they didn't show what was inside before they even cut it open in.the cut away I didn't even have to watch the full video to find what's inside toke away from the hole video
How to reach u so I can show u my own collection.
The crooked line is from lack of experience using that saw in the fact that it was too heavy for him
Tough job feeling sorry for you
I wear an American Amythest everyday I mined myself and took to a jewelers to cut
Chris should be able to keep all the pieces
Cut it on the ground. A saw that big and heavy shouldn’t be held up like that if you can help it. Plus any debris that gets kicked out by the blade won’t hit you in your torso.
Why are you using a slotted blade, doesn't it chip the leading and trailing edges
I really dug thjs episode; HOWEVER next time wear PROTECTIVE EAR GEAR!
Maybe a jeweler should be involved because don't they see how Gems are cut?
Hey guys how to connect u
OoO you found the amethyst geod from mincraft
No one gonna point out the fact that his bolo tie is proberly worth more than a house? (I'm new to gems, it may not be as expensive as i think.... but still!)
Hate to correct but that is a saw not a grinder Grinder is not meant to cut but to remove material
A cansa né

I want to know: what does it smell like?
@christopherclark5615
6 ай бұрын
Because of the water trapping the dust and the mask, there really wasn't much of a smell while cutting. After, there was a faint smell of water/metal/dust.
Oh my god why didn't you just use a sledge Hamer..you distroyed that poor geode
Water pressure its drip fed vibrations dot that not water pressure
It’s actually called a partner saw, great video tho
