Great Video! I used to watch your videos when you did mostly cricut projects. I do not have the business version of cameo 3 or 4 because I use the cricut air and I felt intimidated to the design software of the silhouette machines over design space. I digress, what I 'm meaning to say is that I found while scrolling thru youtube for how to embroider. Your new video caught my eye when you mentioned Cricut. I, happy to see that I can now marry my two crafts together by being able to use the Cricut to fussy cut appliqués. I plan on using these ideas for my new grandchild and upcoming retirement. Perfect timing for me to learn as much as I can on how to embroider. Great teaching! My only regret is that I didn't buy as nice as machine as yours even though its a Brother I already want to trade it in.

You may have JUST, with this tutorial, have convinced me to purchase this exact embroidery machine. As a longtime Cricut crafter and needle worker ++, I just have never taken the plunge before into machine embroidery. But, THIS FINALLY DID IT--that Rooster was beautiful to see, & so EASY! Would you do anything different when doing this with a Cricut maker?

Hi can you please tell me if the cricut explore air 2 can cut peltex 72f into shapes for bead embroidery

This is so interesting! I do have the Business edition of Silhouette Studio and have cut appliqué fabric before, but I’ve always started from the .PES in Embrilliance, added a slight inflation to the placement stitch, then sent that file to Silhouette. Do you not need to inflate the fabric for the tack down to catch it?

I have an embroidery foot, too, but not the knowledge of how to use it properly. I want an embroidery sewing machine that I can also use to quilt, but they are too expensive.

Can silhouette business open all embroidery design file format or does it have to be pes? My machine uses hus

I am confused by all the different file types. How do I know which one I need? Is it dependent upon the brand of machine? What if I have to use an embroidery foot manually? Thank you!

The website isn't the friendliest for the user. I'm guessing that not many of the downloads can be used with a 4x4 machine hoop if they can't be re-sized. I'm still on a huge learning curve, so I don't want to waste my money if I can't use it.
