Cutting a HEAP of Blue and Black AGATIZED CORAL!!! These Things are Absolutely INSANE!!!

In this one, we unbox an incredible care package from our friend in Florida, Derrick the Rock Master who you know from WILDKYLE'S videos! I was not prepared for the amazing specimens that waited for us inside of that box, for what sat inside was a pile of phenomenal AGATIZED CORAL! This is Tampa Bay material which is renowned for its amazing blue, black, and white colors, botryoidal pockets, and potential for druzy and quartz filled voids! We picked out a big handful of promising specimens and got to cutting! We even took a field trip to Montana Rock Mom's to feed a few to Drogon! While there we cut open one of my calcified Whelk fossils and revealed absolutely remarkable calcite crystals! I seriously STILL can not believe this incredible material! Huge Enormous Massive shout outs to Derrick for sending us these phenomenal Treasures! I hope you all enjoy this one, and I will have another one out very soon!

It was amazing!!!! Thanks to Derrick. Thanks to Montana Rock Mom. She is the best and so is Drogon, grrrrrrr. The socks were cool, loved the colors. This one was just jam packed with wonderful things. Keep the madness coming and show the soxs if she wants. Remember she said to cut that one. Be happy, safe and stay healthy 😷⚒

I can’t express which one I like best, but I do prefer the black/white/blue ones. But I must say, I do follow a number of different KZread bloggers of different types - most are rock folks and homesteading and gardening and farming folks - you are by far my very favorite rock person. I MUST say I ADORE your puppies. But there is not ANYONE ANYWHERE CLOSE to you in terms of the music you use in your videos. FANTASTIC!!!

OH MY GOODNESS!😳😱🤯 I had no idea that agatized coral could look like that inside. The beauty is absolutely mind blowing. I love the ones with the black and blue🖤💙 and the one with the white botryoidal on one side & the black druzy on the other🤩, completely gorgeous! The shells with all calcite are amazing as well. I also was impressed by all of the agate banding in and around them. So cool of Derek to send the corals to you! Alexis cracks me up!😅 Thank you for sharing Theo and awesome polish job!✌🤠

All that coral is absolute insanity! I'm thinking that's never going to get old for you. The botryoidal goodness and those that have the druzy just completes the mind blow. It must have been so fun to go through the box and cut the surprises. The shells being in the same video almost makes it more than a person can take. The whelks are fantastic and sooooo gemmy! I'm just prattling on, I could make more words but they can't wrap around the concept of how good all that is. Thanks for sharing with us. Cheers!

There’s even agatized oysters! 🤷🏻‍♂️ For whatever reason I’ve developed a strong Florida rockhound connection! The black druse is insane! I still haven’t found any black druse in Missouri… yet… Dude you got some freaking beautiful pieces! That black one that you can see the polyps on the outside is so freaking cool

Thought on why the one with the colour changing interior its only a theory but it might have something to do with light refraction through the liquid and if there are very tiny micro crystals refracting the light through the liquid. Check with a jewellers loop or a powerful magnifier of some sort.

Those were all great, some of the blacker ones look a lot like Bear Canyon agates, at least on the computer screen. Sad thing is, I live in Florida and I have never found any of that. Shark teeth up the wazoo and lots of other cool stuff, but no agatized coral. Are you using a rock blade on your tile saw or a standard tile blade? I'm probably going to be picking one up soon (like this week).
