What I really like about the trailer for 4.0 is that many of the events are purposefully misdirected. This scene in the trailer for example looked like, Clorinde was the one leading them into battle

you should watch sumeru's one again...misdirection? they spliced like 8 different questlines and made it seem liek the abyss were messing with irminsul and people were merging with machines....the actual questline was still gorgeous, but still

Really? That big knock back of Navia looked silly and clunky. And overall I'm not seeing an improvement over the past. Every time a vid drops there are ridiculous hype comments regardless of quality and if these are genuine then the fans will kill their own game.

​@@The_Antiquarythat knockback scene is literally every anime fighting scene when a character gets knocked back. Nothing special at all, but as someone who's watched many games' battle scenes this one is an improvement from previous fight scenes in the game, idk if you intentionally ignored this but: the whole cutscene uses a 3d camera which is very rare for a fight scene, usually they just switch between camera angles with no effort to make it better. If you did not know this, then better take notes.

While it isn't seen in game, I like the fact that although they're mechanical, the Gardemeks actually have strategy behind them. Like in 1:20 where the Gardemeks first shield against Clorinde's attack, but then holds the shields in order for the other one to shoot. I really like little details like this because it tells us why Navia wasn't able to defeat them earlier; because while she's trained in the sword she doesn't have as much experience in dealing with these sorts of scenarios unlike Clorinde; who easily cuts through their defense because as the Opera Epiclese' Champion Duelist she's seen and fought with a lot of different people with their own unique strategies.

Navia and Neuvillette were the main highlights of these two archon quests, but Clorinde deserves love too with her overall iconicness in such little screentime. Man, can't wait for these three to come out, they're my favorites of the Fontaine cast!! edit: can't wait for "Father" to show up too lol

I personally think 4.3 is arlecchino and maybe with clorinde or navia otherwise navia and clorinde come at the earliest 4.4 just my speculation

I agree, but I hope they develop the dialog scene as well, not just using template animation. I remember the first time we arrived in Mondstadt when we first meet Jean, Kaeya, Lisa, the gesture much more alive even the lip movement is quite detailed. Maybe because it's the introduction part, but still, it's mean they can do that but choose not too. I'm sure they have more budget now than they are back then. 😞

@@Harsh1650 NA and CA focus is entirely different unit types for Claymore. The way every weapon except Claymore weaves in a nornal attack between charged attacks makes a massive difference in synergy. What I'm saying is they don1t actually overlap much in terms of team options. Itto is glued to one or two team comps while Noelle is very flexible.

While others are understandably going crazy for clorinde and the others, I just knew and have been taken with Navia from the start - for her immaculate design which makes the fashion designer and artist in me VERY happy since it's roccoco and steampunk inspired... Then my assumption on her being a classy yet bold and upright lady was on point as well! She simply doesn't disappoint and I'm proud to be a fan since day one 😊

1:09 DUDE the way Clorinde deflects the bullets with her sword is just SO BADASS :D + Fontaine has been absolutely amazing so far, delightful characters and engaging stories, with amazing visuals and music! Hoyo really outdid themselves with 4.0 :)

I really love how this really set the stage. The writing of the Archon Quest is thankfully on par with Sumeru - top tier. Love the two femmes here~ All characters are well utilized thankfully, compared to Inazuma.

Inazuma should have more acts like the last two. The first half was great, the shogun part is ine of the best genshin moments. But the last act had too much for just one act.

@@pontoancora Yeah, I personally loved the 2.0 patch a lot, even Ayaka quest that is infamous, the themes in it about freedom and stuff really resonated with me. But 2.1 was awful indeed, and how they introduced Kokomi and Gorou just to put them on sidelines together with the whole Civil War, basically, was so awful.

POV Clorinde while she’s being attacked by multiple robots : 🧍‍♀️

Navia has some gravy control my guess is she makes herself lighter. Her first slash up, the swords momentum pulled her up into the air. During her spinning jump she pulls the sword close to the center of her body because, like an ice skater, moving the center of gravity to the middle increases speed, allowing her 3 full rotations. And when she gets kicked back it is the sword that is being thrown not her, you can tell from the motion that the center of gravity is close to her hand when it should be her body that has more mass.

Besides the epicness and the animation of it all, I love when the music calms down and they glance at each other. You can feel the tension between them Don't worry Mihoyo I'm pulling both

These Archon Quests are what keep me so interested in this game. They are soo good, the voice acting is top notch, and this quest in particuliar was so full of heart, emotion, shock, redemption, and joy. 🥰

This was such an epic moment. Loved the scene between Navia and Clorinde

and she did it all in heels

Holy hell the choreography, especially how Navia covers Clorinde at the very end x.x It's so good!!!
