We had Fresno for several weeks after his surgery. He is the most beautiful cat,and very lovable and smart. The reason we had to return him is because one day he sunk his little teeth in my arm and it swelled up pretty bad. I've had cat bites and scratches my whole life and never thought anything about it, but this one was different. Fortunately antibiotics and time healed it up. But there have been cases where people have lost part of their limbs with cat bites. We wanted to keep him so bad, but I'm glad he found his forever home. Hope he lives a long and happy life.

No one is judging you atleast I'm not. You did the right thing. I have a spicy kitty myself sometimes he just wakes up and decides to be a dick for no reason others he is so lovey and sweet. Just honestly better safe than sorry.

Fresno was always a nice cat and extremely handsome. He didn't realize when he was giving his " love bites" that his teeth were sinking in and unfortunately it was a risk we couldn't take , given the infection experienced with the one bite. He is a jewel and someone was lucky to get him. Thankful Vet Ranch took care of his hip issues. @@brandyabbott1434

I'm getting the sense that Kiki and Squeaky are up for adoption but they're not really up for adoption...wink wink. And the outro song never gets old and always puts a smile on my face.

I love Basset Hounds! They are loyal, free-spirited, and adorable. When fully grown, they always have that puppy look.

Look's like they realize that they are in heaven ❤ .

I know its weird, but I just had to put down a kitten and seeing this just now makes me feel better, knowing that there's good people like you who can make a difference in their lives. It was an unfortunate tragedy for my little buddy :(

Who in the world could even murder those precious dogs. They are beautiful.

I can't believe Fresno got returned, I'm glad he's already re-adopted to someone who can appreciate a little spice. Crimson is the chillest cat. He's got two people manhandling his face and putting in drops and he just goes "Aw yeah, gettin' my head pet." And Kris is just the cutest dog ever, I don't know what it is that makes me so endeared to him but if I could fit another void into my apartment I'd consider driving down to Texas for him. Glad there were so many good adoptions this week! And happy healthy puppies!

I will never understand how people default to euthanize when issues come up. There is always an alternative if you willing to try. Glad you save the ones you can. Would love to see more on Beasley love that pooch she looks like such a sweet girl.

With Parvo, the treatment (x2) can be really expensive, with no guarantee they will survive. I didn't quite understand where they originally came from. A breeder or someone who bought from a breeder? Either way, the breeder didn't do the proper puppy shots to prevent this. If you buy from a breeder, get ALL vet records and dates for puppy shots. If anything seems iffy, your vet may want to 're-administer' puppy shots.

One of our cats will be going to the vet on Monday as soon as we can get an appointment. We've discovered he seems to have an ear infection. I'm hoping it's nothing serious and can be cured with antibiotics. It's a worry as he is 18 years old. He's always been an indoor cat so it's not earmites. Just hope he's going to be OK as if anything happened to him, his litter brother would really miss him. They've never been separated since they were born. Given to me by a work colleague 18 years ago and they are much loved.

Waiting for pups to grow into their ears is a whole vibe. ❤

I had a "hands off" kitty like Fresno for 18 years (his whole life). You really have to pay attention to the body language of when they are done being petted and where is acceptable to touch. He could be a bit randomly mean too, but we accepted that was the price we paid for his company.

Wonderful feel good, fun video! I was so happy to see this drop at the old regular time. Glad Mr. Cat adopted, but wish he and Jean Lefitte would have stayed together. Thank you for all you do to save these animals! Crusty Chris is looking so good. I didn’t know Crimson had no teeth. Last year I adopted a 10 year old cat that has no teeth. He has no trouble eating dry food and loves treats. Can't wait for the next video installment. Have a great week guys.

You are my people! I love to hear about people adopting older animals - my husband and I take in displaced senior cats whose people have died, been placed in nursing homes, etc. I firmly believe there’s nothing else in the world like the love of an old animal.

What a great group of adorable puppers! Even when they don't feel good they're super cute. Krusty Kris turned out to be a beautiful doggo. Wow. I love Bassett Hounds! I've had three over the years. The last two were after my husband and I were married. He had never been owned by a Bassett before but quickly wondered how he had ever lived without one. Of course both girls were daddy's girls no matter what I did. ❤❤❤

Have a rescue basset of my own. Loved that you saved them. If anyone else sees any bassets like that out there there are rescue organizations just for them. They will even take in mixed bassets.

I have my cat because she was the most obnoxious one in the shelter. She would bite and scratch people. Now she just lays around in the sun and meows for attention.

She is very, very adorable! I wish I could take her in but I can't handle it right now. I just found out I had breast cancer and will have a chaotic next few months of radiation, oncology radiation and the surgery. When things settle down, I'll be looking in!!!!!!! 💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖

We tried cutting our cats nails and putting the tips on them, so they wouldn't scratch the furniture, but they hated their nails being cut so bad we only got a few nails per cat. Can you do a "tip of the week" for cats nails?

Kristopher looks a lot like my rescue! She's a pit bull boxer mix. I didn't the DNA test on her!
