this straight forward, high quality and short format is so pleasing, we love to see it

Yeah so many videos about something pretty mundane like switches, go on and on for like 30 minutes. Are they smooth, how do they sound, can you buy them, what lube, films? etc etc that's all we really need to know to decide if they are worth trying.

@@CodeMonkeX yea i feel like nearlucids content is for both experienced hobbyists and people just getting in the hobby so it’s nice

@@just_the_letter_a Thank you! That's exactly what we aim to create, content that's easy to watch for hobbyists with any level of experience. Our switch review format is the result of lots of fine tuning, and I think it has gotten to the most optimal point in terms of information and length.

@@nearLucid My only feedback is perhaps to get brighter lighting setup to showcase your board/setting! Also love alpacas, a must to film (on top of lubing ofc) for the best sound! Should film a few to try :)
Bruh how are you managing all these uploads LOL keep it up!

he made it in the future and posted it in the past 😳
I love how the alpacas sound. They have that signature jwk sound that I really like. Somehow, with all the "deeper" switches coming out, the alpacas with their hollow clack gives me a bit of fresh air.
Nice review sir. Crisp and concise as usual. Another one in the books👏
These sound the best in the mode so far by a mile imo. Great upload!
Great review! Super clean format and video with clear and concise explanation and comparison!
ur so underrated keep making high quality videos like this and you'll be at 100k in no time
Bro this guy deserves way more subs, great vid as always!
Bro you just attacking my subscriptions with all this good content 🔥
Damn I got recommended ur tape mod vid through the algorithm and your vids are so high quality man. The editing is so nice and honestly you're underrated. Keep up the great work man, you'll blow up soon

dude same thing happened to me lol
Nice video format! I really liked its pacing. One thing I would consider is adding a shorter comparison of the two after initial sound tests. I felt like after the second sound test I had to go back to grasp the difference. Therefore I would welcome a sound test "summary".
bro your vids slap with quality
Great video man! Keep it up.
very high quality, keep up the good work. Also, I wanted to ask how do you record your b-rolls?
Awesome Vid!
underated skills brooooo
I love these short reviews but I wouldnt say no to a few longer videos
Love your videos! I do think the overall sound of your voice in your videos are a little low. But other than that, the content is great!
so under rated
Nearlucid can you do a review on the milky gateron blacks?
hey Lucid, do you recommend filming the alpaca's? I just recentlu got them but I'm not sure whats the best mod to do on it to make a clacky sound t o it
Hey man, I've really been enjoying these reviews so far, especially the Jwick switch in comparison to the Alpacas. Just wanna know if you plan to cover the other Jwick switches like the black and white since you only mentioned the Red and Yellow variants, or maybe compare them to the current "best" budget switches, the Gateron Yellows. Cheers!

Don’t mean to be rude but he compared the Jwicks to the Gat Yellows in the review
@pocketspocket8638

@@andreinoue7583 hey no worries, but i do believe he only compared the cost of the gat yellows to the jwicks whereas i had wanted a more comprehensive comparison like between the jwick and alpaca with stock and lubed+filmed comparisons
What would you say your favorite linear switch is?
Are alpacas and H1s the same other than the spring
keep it up.
Really nice video! And i have a question, are JWK and JWICK the same brand?
@nearLucid

JWICK is manufactured by JWK

Hi bro, I'm quite having a time to choose between: Tangerine, Lilac, Banana Split, Alpaca or Lavender What would you suggest for me if I'm the type that like thocky and smooth key experience :) ?
@nearLucid
2 жыл бұрын
you can pick any of them, they are the same.
cant believe you dont have 89 trillion subs!!!!!!
Are the durock L series a recolor of alpacas? Or are they different materials?
@nearLucid
2 жыл бұрын
Same materials and mold, so they should be almost identical.
Is JWK yellow as as smooth as ALPACA?
what stabs are you using?
what keycaps are those
keyboard'name using in video ?
Should I get Noir Rose since they are somewhat the similar with Alpacas?
@cLOcKgOdtanaka
2 жыл бұрын
afaik theyre the same thing just different colours
Have you ever used Durock Ls? Like Durock L2, L5, and L7. If so, is there any difference between them and Alpacas? Considering that both of them are jwk.

Why do you type at the speed of light?
So in short, get the jwk yellow instead lol
get JWICKs now theyre the same exact thing but as low as $0.20 per swich now

how are jwicks easier to find when theyre on groupbuy?

@@nearLucid oh wow i did not know that, thank you so much for informing me!!
No hate, but you mentioned that they benefit from being filmed, and proceed to leave them unfilmed for the comparison? hmmm
Mannnn
Are they mushy in terms of like in G915 linear.
So much effort to sit and tear apart the board over mad over and over.
invest in $nearLucid today
If you're going to buy alpacas just buy jwicks.
