all of the extreme cheapskates have one thing in common: their lives are fully enabled by the kindness of strangers. it's not like extreme couponers where the coupons are there and as long as you use it fully it'll work for you... no, these people expect things for free. And when I see someone who lives in a really nice house, like this family, and the parent is a cheapskate I know it's because of control. And that makes me sick. There was no reason for the kid's friend to not have a good time on this vacation - her parents were paying! Nope, the woman needs to control every moment while claiming it's "fun"

I thought this was a control thing too otherwise I wouldn’t understand why she was so happy with herself 😅 Doing this must bring control in her life, she must have gone through something for her to develop this behaviour. Everyone has problems. Would be nice if she could go out of her way and spend some extra money to see her kids enjoy the holidays, even if it doesn’t make her happy. Should be able to compromise as a parent/partner ect.

yeah, it reminds me of this other episode where the lady didn't want to buy her kid clothes, but also said "if i just give her 20$ that completely takes me out of the equation" or something like that, so it seemed like it was less about the money and more being able to have full control over what her daughter wore. the ones who don't have spouses and kids are fine, if you wanna live like you're broke and you're not bothering anyone it's whatever, but then the ones with families always want to force their cheap ways on their families and it's frustrating.

I am SO glad my parents were never like that. Friends of mine were always included, always got their own tickets and food etc, and even if you really don't have the money, look for free alternatives. For example, when I went to London, I took free walking tours, went to Parks and markets and drove a normal bus line instead of the tourist bus and still got to see everything of London for a tenth of 5he price. You have to know where you can save money without (!) the kids really noticing. Like friends of mine often went camping and hiking because that was cheap, but their parents never said they were doing it because of that but enhanced the nature aspect.

I'd probably bet my right tit that she was spoiled af growing up and that selfishness carried over-- to affect her OWN seed....she should splurge on her daughter every now and then. DAMN!😡 *the only way I could understand it is if the mom is pinching her pennies so she can surprise her daughter with a brand new CAR for graduation. "For putting up with my utterly selfishly and miserly ways, here's a Benz! This is why I was so tight with you hun! I wanted to save, save and SAVE to get you this: Here's for making it 18 years with me and my scroogey ass sweetheart!" 🎓🎓🎓🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾The girl would cry and they'd hug and act all excited and shit....* If it's not a scenario like that, the cheap bitch can come up off of and/or bust open dem bags of $$$ shes trying to hoard. LIL BIHHHH 🤨🤨 P.s. shes utterly throwed off for that two 10 minute showers a week nonsense too. Really.....something is WRONG with her--upstairs . Not to mention the potential FUNK downstairs! Sorry, this is low key a novella!!

Could have grocery shopped once they got to Vegas. I took my daughters on a trip to DC for about $1,000. Plane tickets $410, hotel $380, and we ate breakfast at the hotel. Lunch was at a restaurant and dinner was food from the dollar tree that a shuttle bus took us to. And all the museums were free!
