Cut Throat Cleaver Making
Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль
I recently had the idea for a cut throat style cleaver so decided to build this one when asked for a custom. I honestly feel this build tested me and its one of the best knives i have made so far. Sorry a few of the clips have markings on but unfortunately my camera broke during filming.

Watching you make this cleaver reminded me of watching my grandfather making new blades for straight razors. The chief differences between his work and yours is the technological differences. He had a motorized stone wheel with an oil drip and a bucket of cold water by his side, I can't guess if you got your blade hollow ground faster than he might, but I am guessing replacing a broken belt is a good deal easier than replacing a broken stone wheel. Great work being done by a master of his craft is always a joy to watch. Thanks for sharing and thanks for the humor.

You are very very welcome. I'm new to knife making and have been watching videos and reading to gather techniques alongside what I already know about working with metal and wood.
