You would need a SPAS-12 to truly complete the package. FWIW, these Hollywood "hunters" knew the advantages of a semi-auto. Even the legendary Van Pelt traded his lever-action shotgun for a semi-auto in the original _Jumanji._ Although, I stopped watching _Jurassic Park_ after the third installment. Never even saw the rest of them. I mean seriously...a .45-70 Lever Action to hunt dinosaurs?! I rest my case. Stay classy my friends.

Get the LTT. The mod 2 doesn’t have the comp trigger or hand guard and only has the lifter

I've had a 1201FP for about 25yrs now...great gun, it's my primary HD weapon... What I would really like to see is a next gen mag fed LTT 1301, making loading, reloading and unloading much faster and more efficient...

About an hour before I saw this video today, I literally purchased my LTT 1301 in OD Green, with: - The LTT Trigger Job - MagPul Zhukov Handguard with MLOK modified by LTT and GG&G - MagPul Butt Stock - Stock & Handguard Adapters by GG&G - 2024 Pro-Lifter and Semi-Flat Trigger - LTT 509T compatible Mount by GG&G - Six Shot Side Saddle by GG&G I also added the Holosun 509T optic with a Green (vice red) multi-reticle!

Love my LTT 1301. The GG&G shell holder really grasps onto the shells. But Ive figured out ways to make it livable :) .

Yes, it is still a part of the base upgrade. The only things that got removed were the nordic components extension tube, because beretta has their own mounted on.

No, the Chisel stock has its own recoil buffer bolt. You do not loose that feature.

I appreciate this company’s innovative and very creative product line - I just don’t understand buying a gun to turn it into something else. I know it’s just me and I do own a 1301 but it is just fine out of the box. I’m just from another time. It’s good that the gun sporting industry is growing specifically now that we have the tyranny of evil men thriving.

Are the latest LTT 1301s based on the newest Mod 2 version? And how soon will the LTT 1301 Tungsten with the Chisel Stock be available?

Not all 1301s have chokes. I think you can also send them one you bought to modify it if the ones they have lack it.

Swing and a miss on Beretta still not offering a beveled loading port in 2024 while the less expensive A300UP has that upgrade.

Build the 300 since the 1301 is never in stock to purchase

I'm curious about that as well. I was told by my LGS that just became a dealer for them that LTT was waiting for the new 1301 to come out before making more. Coming with the new lifter and trigger pack as stated, makes me believe that these are the Mod 2 variants.

So, we would call this the Mod3 shotgun. It has a solid mag tube (mod2) and the new pro lifter and Simi flat trigger (mod3).

Well you could, if you know how to do everything and have all the right tools, including for the trigger bar. It can also be difficult to source all the different parts. I would also recommend researching the price. Most people find that it turns out to be less expensive. Shipping from all the different places starts to add up.

You can do it all yourself, but doing it for less money is very questionable. Do the math, including shipping costs from all the different vendors. Don't forget the tools you need, and hopefully, you know how to do it right?

Well, it is not really a Short Barrel Shotgun. It is 18.5" which is has been more than enough barrel to reach full velocity with the fast burning power in shotgun shells for more than 100 years. Now, if you are talking about clay shooting or bird hunting, you are correct, this would be a short barrel for those kind of uses. Keep in mind that this is a defensive gun and may need to be used in tight quarters, shorter barrels work much better there. Thank you for your input.
