Hey Guys! Today I’m going to be jumping on a recent trend (kind of, I’m a little late, but….better late than never?). You guys know how I’m obsessed with painting….basically anything. Well, the Hydro Flask re-usable water bottles have been super popular recently and I’ve seen so many people customizing them. I guess since they are pretty plain, they are just a perfect canvas for decorating and putting your own style on them. I put A LOT of time into 2 different hydro flask water bottles. I’ve noticed quite a few creators doing many of these in one video, but I decided to focus on just 2, and try to do a well-done, detailed design. I decided to paint one of them with acrylic paint and one of them with Posca Paint Pens, in 2 very different themes and styles. One is more “painterly” (we love that word LOL) and the other is a lot more bold and cartoony. I ended up loving how both of these came out, hopefully you guys like them too! Gah Moriah, everything you make just blows me away. I wish I had an ounce of that kind of creativity & talent. Anytime I have the desire to draw, I end up just staring at the paper and nothing comes to mind. It’s like writer’s block, but for artists. Drives me bananas. I know I’m late to the game. Hi Moriah! Hydro Flasks are good because they keep things the EXACT temperature they were when you put them in the bottle. For example, if you put hot chocolate in one, it would keep it warm for longer than the average water bottle, and the same for ice-cold drinks.

Oh my, you rock! I literally just discovered your channel and this video on a whim. I got up out of bed and noticed that my hydro flask was looking kinda worn and ugly, and it needed something. So I looked up this subject painting a hydro flask, and there you were at the top of the page. I haven't laughed so hard first thing in the morning in a very long time. So as I sipped my coffee in my ugly hydro flask mug, I got inspired by you to give it a try and got entertained by your wonderful self depreciating humor. Mod Podge makes a dishwasher safe coating for anything food related. You can use it on your water bottles and not worry about ruining the paint job. Highly recommend as I have personally used it for my own custom designed water bottles.

My favorite kind of water bottle is the hydra flow. Around 15 for 1 bottle. I just bought a 2 pack on amazon for half of the hydraflask price!
I was so not prepared for “orangefishy” that I actually snorted in the middle of hiding from my problems.
