Customizing Fused Glass Colors for One of a Kind Jewelry | Using Second Hand Bracelet Findings

In this week's Fused Glass Friday I'm pre-firing my sheets of glass in order to give them unique patterns before I turn them into jewelry pieces!
** The bracelet findings used in this video were purchased second hand. I do not have a source for them **
All glass is COE 96 compatible and fired using the auto settings in my Skutt kiln, unless otherwise stated.

I have always admired your work and let me tell you, I would not have imagined how beautifully everything turned out. I loved your bracelets! Do you mind sharing where you got your bracelet findings? They are so pretty! I really like everything and I feel like the reds and earth tones had a southwest theme. So pretty! I have a truckload of scrap (after 12 years!), and I make a lot of those sheets too but your natural eye to color combinations is beautiful. Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful work!

About seven months ago you did a suncatcher with that green and the red reactive. I quite enjoyed that one. This one is great as well. You have a unique gutsy-ness about your approach to creating. Well done.

I love this video you way you take us through the steps to complete projects. Please can you tell me where you get the bracket straps from and what they are called? I live in the UK and cannot find them - probably I’m not calling them by the right name. I would really appreciate your help on this if you don’t mind. Thank you. Meg

I know you said you got the findings used, but can you tell me what they are so I can look for them? I feel so dumb, 😂, I don’t know the names of any findings! But if I have names, I can search!! Hi Katharine, every kiln is different and it also depends on what type of glass you’re using. I would recommend googling a full fuse schedule for your kiln and tweak it from there to get the results you’re looking for.
