Baz can you go through a more in-depth video with that clutch tool you fit to stop the clutch self adjusting

What was wrong with the old way? A simple bearing, clutch fork and the clutch piston which sat OUTSIDE the gearbox!?

Nice work. I've done plenty of clutches and DMF's on various makes and models but tbh i've never seen that tool. Hell i don't even own a clutch alignment tool, I just do it by eye by looking how much friction material I can see all the way around. Once the box is on and bolted up, it will self center anyway once you press the clutch. What is this tool for though?

The tool is really to enable the existing clutch to be removed and reset to enable refitting if you are not replacing

How come you drain the gear oil,I work in a VAG main dealer and I've never once drained the box, just interested in the thought process

This so called “improved design” for clutches, timing belts etc is far far more expensive than they used to be with zero improvement from what I can see
