If you missed the first two parts, get part 1, here: • Creating Your Customer...
Get part 2 here: • Customer Avatar Part 2...
Also, there is a new customer avatar tutorial for 2020 here - • Customer Avatar Tutori...
The new updated version includes the 'how to research' your customer avatar and 4 separate avatar worksheets for you!

If you are not yet familiar with the Facebook Audience Insights tool, it may very well be one of the most important and powerful research tools on the market... And it is totally free.
You must have a Facebook Ads account setup in order to access the tool. You can simply start your first ad, enter your billing info and turn off your first ad instantly to gain access.
In this video, we are only looking at how to use the FB insights tool in order to understand more about your potential customers. You are able to use this tool for several other tasks, like finding interests to ad to your Facebook PPC campaigns, demographic information for your campaigns and more.
We will cover those uses of the tool in greater detail in future videos. For right now, the goal is to help you get a crystal clear picture of 'who' you are going to be marketing to in your niche so that you can make sure all of your messaging matches the dreams, hopes, fears and desires of your target market.

    I am so glad that i've spent over a hundred hours watching these videos and videos from others. Some are so convincing at the outset and I thought that I had really lucked out. Then as I learned more and clicked on different types of people educating us in this field I found that the most are charlatans. Anyway I was lucky enough to be thorough in pinning down who the real teachers are. In the last three days I have come across Myles Franklin Hatchett, Kelly Ballard , Neil Patel, Charles , Malan Darras and the gut on istack. That is an amazing group of individuals and I haven't heard anything about Lamborghinis. Thank you so much Miles I'm looking forward to following you. Cheers!

    Facebook is the marketplace for marketers, that's where we can go in and shop for our ideal customer haha My favorite metrics from it are the purchase behavior, ad engagement, lifestyle and of course the ton of other metrics. The location metric would be really good when running PPC campaign because it might help get lower CPC and more conversions.

    Hi Mike, I am really happy with your training! I am still trying to figure out how the research translates into the ad. Like are you going to just stack the interests you researched into the ad? do you put the interests into categories? eg. Websites and magazines? Or do you just lump them together?

  • @MilesB

    @MilesB

    7 жыл бұрын

    Right on! I cover the tool from an ad set creation standpoint in this video: kzread.info/dash/bejne/Y5tlmdZqaJW1l6Q.html The TL;DR is that I generally look for lesser known interests (less competition with other advertisers when I do more research and a cheaper click) and stack on all 30 into one ad set. With that said, if there is one BIG interest like Tony Robbins that has a million or two audience size, I do run split tests at the ad set level, where I show one ad set/ad combo to the Tony Robbins audience and the other (exact same) ad set and ads to the 29 smaller interests and track which converts better.

Utilizing Facebooks ad platform as the primary way to distribute content vs traditional email, lead magnets, etc... I guess I’m curious what your thoughts are on landing pages in 2018?
