This is a shout out to my good mate Ben from Flawless Cleaning. He reminded me how awesome the 18" Whirlaways were when he bought his a couple of months back, so because of him, I went and bought myself a nice new shiny one from Rutland Pumps. Nice one Ben 👍, I forgot how easily these things blast through the weeds in block paving, it's like having an 18" turbo nozzle - love it 👌.

Glad you did the edging, it really started pulling attention as soon as you started cleaning. Nice work. Liked your soft wash nozzle, put out product fast and in volume and you had good control. You'd never guess it was the same driveway when done!

Beautiful job Nick. Love watching you apply the hypo using the xjet. Is it neat hypo in the drum and you just use the correct proportioner to match what ratio you require? Does the whirlaway 18" really shift the weeds like a turbo nozzle?? I can never shift the weeds or moss using the surface cleaner, always end up going back to the turbo nozzle. Need an upgrade I think. Top class work as always, and pleasure to watch 👍

Hey Paudie, my apologies for my slow response bud. Yes mate, neat hypo with surfactant and a proportioner to set the strength 👍. Bit of an exaggeration on my part bud about the Whirlaway being like a turbo nozzle, but if it's set up correctly and powered through a 21lpm machine or higher, it's not far off. Got those exact same stones, and forgot how pleasing they are when they’re clean, I must get out there and make them look more presentable… 👍wonder if bilt hamber car snow foam will work as well 😂

They were actually laid by a friend of a friend, the fella who laid them said they were the excess of a pub job he’d just finished somewhere in Royston, Hertfordshire - Not too far from me. Was only half joking about the car snow foam as that’s what it reminded me of. But I suppose the correct detergent could actually work if put through a lance. So I may well give that a go some time in the future. I’ll let you know definitely.

Cheers bud, I just pour it in without measuring it, but i'd say roughly around 100ml per 25litre drum, you don't need much of that stuff.👍

Yes, absolutely, but it will take you 3-4 times longer. The surface cleaner is an 18" Whirlaway, but unfortunately it won't fit on a domestic Karcher.

Hi... Great video... Can I ask you.. What's the difference between a turbo nozzle And just an ordinary jet wash nozzle .. Is it just that one jets more pressure or is the water action of the turbo different.... Thanks... Also if it is just a difference between pressure how can you tell what pressure change there is say when changing to a turbo head

Hi Richard, thanks very much. The pressure is the same on each nozzle, as long as the user has the correctly suites nozzle size on each, to suit their particular machine. The turbo nozzle spins, and is used mainly for removing stubborn built in dirt and weeds as it's more aggressive. The fan nozzle is also very effective at removing built in dirt, but much less effective against weeds. The fan nozzle is much better on brick walls for example, as it's less aggressive, and much less likely to remove the pointing.

And the come with different bar power actually on the lance or nozzle.. I mean I was thinking about buying a bigger machine for home use than the k2.. To k7.. But would I just need a higher bar lance on the k2 to get more power... Thanks

@@superman00000008 No worries Hannes. I use 15% SH. Sorry didn't explain that properly. 3 parts water to 1 part SH. If you're not removing the moss first, then it might be a good idea to go a little stronger, 2 parts water to 1 part SH, if that doesn't give the desired results, i'd go 50/50. 👍

@@benvagg3806 no bud, you don’t need to choose one, the X-jet comes with all the the little coloured proportioners. The options you are seeing on the website relate to your pressure washer and how it’s set up .

You're entitled to your opinion, but we would never advise anyone to use sealer, as in our experience it offers little benefit for quite a lot of money. We certainly wouldn't advise sealing first, then sand. The correct way is to sand then seal.

Not that much of a Gardener letting the bushes hang over the walkway .

You did a good job but you did it wrong by spraying it into yard spray it down the driveway into the street

You’re obviously not aware that intentionally spraying mucky water, dirt and chemicals into the street is illegal, as it could clog up the drains. You are required by law to contain as much as possible by bagging it up or spraying the waste water into bushes or borders - hence Why I didn’t spray it into the road.
