Hey Lee, nice one mate, yeah it's very similar to wet pour in terms of rinsing, and tram lines too. Working in a circular motion with the fsc is the best way i've found to get around that with these, then plenty of hypo with the X-jet, cheers bud 🙂👍

You certainly know how to work hard that was a Behemoth. Looks like you could have done with the luxury of a tail gunner rinsing down at the same time as you were cleaning and it was really interesting to see just how that surface reacted in comparison. Great job 👏🏻

Thanks Colin, appreciate that mate. Completely agree bud, a job like this is really best suited to a two man team, like you said, one man on the fsc, then someone behind rinsing down. Would have made life a lot easier, and got the job done much quicker. Unfortunately the guy I used to use part time, went and got himself a job in Tesco's, so now I struggle to find help when I need it. 😞.

Hey buddy, thanks a lot mate 👍. Yeah I should have mentioned the circular motion in the video. It's because with these resin bound drives, tram lines are a real problem. The only way i've found to get around it, is to work in circular motions, or figure of 8's, then post treat with hypo. Roof cleaning vid coming soon bud 😉👍

Amazing work, you are a top grafter. Please can you tell me what pressure and volume you use on resin bound? Do you use the same pressure on the surface cleaner and the lance?

That was a mega job both in size and results achieved. I bet you though the hypo would never rinse :-) Was the circular motion of the fsc the best method you found for not leaving lines on the resin drive?

Thanks Ched, appreciate that mate. Yep spot on, that's the best way i've found to get around it, but even with the circular motions, sometimes the job can look a little patchy, and can need spot cleaning again, hypo certainly helps too. 👍🙂

Great job Sir. I made myself chuckle by picturing a big square dirty patch in the middle as you drive off in the van :)

@@PrestigeExternalCleaning That porous surface really seemed to make rinsing it more involved than a regular hard surface like tarmac or cement. But you conquered it, you did not skimp and took the time that was required to get it fully rinsed. Tougher to rinse but that porosity does make it a nice surface and I totally see why the owner has it. Wonder since that stuff drains so well if maybe it stays cleaner longer between cleanings? I’m not familiar with it.

Hello matey, if it's a decent size job i'll either attach to an inside tap if possible, or if the job's really lucrative, hire a water stand pipe. If the job's not worth that much, then normally i'll just say I can't do it. Cheers bud 👍

Really nice job. I'm curious about how you deal with the SH runoff into the plants. Do you just flood it with clean water to minimize damage ? Also an interesting technique with the surface cleaner. Were you worried about leaving lines ? I just love pressure washing videos and I'm starting it here in South Africa. It's really difficult to impossible get a surface cleaner in this country. When you do find them they go for like ZAR 20 000 ( about 1000 Pounds or $1400 ) So I'm importing one but will only receive it in a months time if I'm lucky.

Lol, yeah luckily for me this job was on a Friday, so had the weekend to rest up. Just used the customers tap mate, no IBC, unfortunately though the water pressure was below average, it's one of the reasons the job took so long, must have wasted at least an hour waiting for the bin to fill up over the whole day. Gutted for ya on the water flow it must of been doing yr nut kicking your heels waiting for bin to fill😟 on big big jobs I go round day before with IBC and let it fill up, it has the usual ball cock/ water cut off but say to customer to turn tap off when its filled. Takes all the head ache out of the job. Only cost £60 at a reclamation yard. Great vid fellas " wot a job" ! Cheers M

We did a 2500m2 resin driveway last year for a Premier league footballer, OMG it was a killer, and an absolute pain in the ass, it hadn't be cleaned for 10 years, we kept getting streak marks and was having to buff it out with hypo, we used about 200ltrs of the stuff in the end, any tips for future resin drives ? Got that one coming up again soon, thinking we will start off softwashing It with the Xjet.

Blimey, 2500m2, now that's a proper whopper. I feel your pain bud, these resin drives are one of the hardest to get right. Circular motions is the key mate, it's the only way i've ever found to avoid getting streak marks. Pre and post treat if the area's quite bad, but most of the time I find post treating is enough. 👍

Was that chemical just s.h? Also how much did you charge for something of this size

Yeah, my heart sank when I saw that stain mate, rust stains are nearly always time consuming, but I just couldn't leave it like that, as it was so visible pretty much in the middle of the drive 😞. Nice one Neil. Thanks again for that mention you gave me on Facebook dude 👍
