It’s definitely not a color I ever thought I’d choose because I am usually a more “nudes” person but lately I have been loving the rustic browns!!! I’m so glad I got it, it is beautiful!

Thank you so much!! So the rectangle one holding page flags I actually found at the container store while I was there browsing, but the one holding larger sticky notes I got off amazon! It’s technically a business card holder lol. And my drawers are also Amazon! They are linked in my amazon favorites

That initial squish was so satisfying on our end lol! JL brown is so popular now, and I see why!😍

@@amandaleighplans I kinda wish I chose another Janet instead of undyed. Mine isn’t as soft and it shows every mark and stain. 😿😢

@@Anca820 well all of the Janet leathers do that, jl brown does too!! 😅 you wouldn’t think because it’s darker but I’ve seen so many people get water spots and dark marks from stains because they didn’t realize it would happen! But wow that is crazy! I actually find my undyed MUCH softer than this brown… they are the same level of squishy but my undyed is super soft to the touch and this one is not! I wouldn’t say this is “soft” it feels almost pebbly bc of the texture but of course it still feels amazing. But my undyed is more smooth ya know

I went overboard.i bought an a6 touched and not a fan.it doesn't feel as good as my moterm does.i decided to order a custom in the b6 and I did not get the back pocket.then someone on youtube suggested Janet leather so I ordered an a5 custom in the chocolate(forgot the name,lol)in both of my customs I did not get the back pocket but now I think I did order the flyleaf.i forget easily due yo family stuff.can you let me know all the styles of leather vds uses since I'm blind in one eye and computers are hard for me?thanks

So mine is one size up, it’s personal rings! Aka standard on VDS website

I will probably never buy a van der speeck, LV or Gillio. Simply because they are too expensive for me. But it's nice to see how much you love it.

I totally get that! I felt like the last person on earth to buy one LOL. I’ve been in the planner community for quite a few years so I had known about the brands but for years I was always like nooo way, too expensive 😅 granted I have had job changes & such over the years which helps, but I usually buy mine by destashing items until I make the full cost of it lol! When I finally decided to try one of the expensive planner brands for the first time in 2021, I truly realized why people love them. The leather & craftsmanship is INCREDIBLE! I’ve still never owned a Gillio but I am definitely a VDS convert!

When you ordered your velvet sand, did you get stiffener?

No!!! I wouldn’t recommend it either, velvet sand is SO stiff of a leather as it is 😅😅

To me they just smell like leather! Your typical leather smell :)
