good to hear from You again! Cover looks great! for us the best covers was made by a lady who had experience with hockey protectors. She has always put plastic sheet to the side where the speakers are. unfortunately she is already retired.. Hi from czech..

I have the Bose backpack already, but just picked up a 2nd S1 Pro, so I ordered this with shipping to USA. It looks like a good product. Thanks for sharing this information.

Good video. It is an important topic. I also like that you mention color. I have boxes of black wall warts and black microphone cable (thanks Samson) and black everything else.

Bose actually make one - it's called the S1 Pro Play-Through Cover. However it doesn't offer the protection that this bag does.

Isn’t that Bose bag just to protect it ? you can leave it on while you use it I thought that was the point. Do they not sell a proper bag for it to protect it besides the backpack?

Correct, it is a transport and storage bag. If you need one which allows the speaker to be used whilst still in the bag this is not for you.

For my church, which pair of speakers should i buy - DB TECHNOLOGIES OPERA 15 - JBL EON615 - RCF ART 715-А MK4 - Electro-Voice ELX115P - Yamaha DXR15 if not any of above mentioned, which would you suggest for 700-800$ budget? Goals: not large hall, up to 200 people, sometimes worship band (keys+ drums+ guitars+ 2-3 vocals) thanks for advice

All of these are good speakers. However, I don't know what pricing is like in your area. More important than price and on-paper specs is the after-sales support available for the brand in your region - this is why I strongly advise against buying speakers online and/or sight unseen. Find a knowledgeable pro-audio supplier in your area who will work with you to spec the correct system for your venue and support it long term. This way you will buy the correct system first time and make the most responsible use of your church's funds.

I did email them several times! They sent a link, I filled it out 3x and no order in 2 days! My little guess is the website is not working properly or my devices don’t do uk! Waiting for them to answer.........or throwing the towel in!

I don't know if that's a tiny little speaker or a giant Bluetooth speaker there Bruno :D But I agree that for a little higher price you can get that superior quality bag! PS by the way did you had the chance to listen to the new Mackie Thump 12A?

Haha I know what you mean! The S1 Pro is a proper sound reinforcement speaker though, it has all of the standard pro audio connections. I once used it as a front fill for an F1 rig and it worked surprisingly well. It just happens to have Bluetooth as well. Unfortunately Mackie distribution in Singapore is still not that good so I haven't heard the new thump 12a yet. Hope you've been well!

@@GLBProductions Yes Thank you!Wait... F1 stands for...? Yeah I saw the connections on the back, with BT so it can be a pretty good speaker also for buskers or parties I guess! Too bad for the Mackie... But if you get the chance please let me know :D PS I'm looking to get a decent PA system for future live sound reinforcement,I had found a really great deal on a store but unfortunately couldn't afford it at that time... The PA was a used 2 passive heads and a sub from Martin Audio and a Labgruppen power Amp... Only 1100 € Now it's gone obviously haha

@@GLBProductions haven't yet bought A Bose S1 Pro but this looks like a perfect case for it. Maybe I will figure out this whole VAT then. What that means to me as a USA consumer and if there is import charges. Lol Like most of us in America I am clueless on these things.

I believe that VAT (Good and Services Tax) is applicable only to customers in the UK. Check with Brynn and his team at Roqsolid, they are incredibly helpful and professional.

@@GLBProductions I know via Google that VAT is value added tax. Know through the site that when purchasing from the USA about 20% comes off the bill. Not sure what happens on the export/in port side of things. Do not know if there is a convenient way to talk with them as my phone is not set for international calling. I guess I have given you a story to share with co-workers. 😂
