So freaking cool. You are the man, Viny. I could have only done about half the stuff in that video. I probably would have driven the blower with a hydraulic motor because my machining skills are way behind yours. I can't believe how cool that turned out. Huge props.

To be able to fabricate all this stuff from basically scratch is nothing short of genius in my opinion.

The humor in your videos, Vinny, it's great. I actually laughed out loud when you dropped the camera into the plastic pulley and, poof, it was aluminum. Really good production quality!

A trick for future: Weld on the inside of the part of the bearing to shrink it. you wont need to cut it, because weld shrinks and diameter narrows and you will be able to push bearing out with no effort ;)
Your work is always amazing, keep it up💛👍🏼

If you destroy the bearing and only half of the bearing is left and you want to remove it i will give a tip. Welding. Welding cause shrinking and ring contraps and remove lightly. Simply just welding circle 3 strips on old bearing ring and thats it. No need to thank. Greetings

That's the funny bit about it...Here in Canada, big snowstorms are like going into war, not literally, but, you suit up, kiss your wife and kids goodbye and tell her to call the police if you're not back in 4 hours, it's a lot of work and thinks break on you, all the time...but not anymore.. 🤷♂️ it's now a 30min job...😲

Nice job! Excellent fabrication skills. I did something similar with an old combine. I used wheels instead of the factory skid plates that were on the blower and so far have been very happy with them to avoid scarfing etc. Also, huge to be able to look ahead, saves the neck!

if you have a TIG welder and a broken baering. you can try to weld the inside of the outside bearing ring. then the bearing chrinks and you can remove without damaging the part. also i have some 6205 ready :D

Yeah, you sure got ADHD and it just earned you another subscriber! Keep on spitting out that content! 😄 BTW, by making the larger pulley that the backside of the V-belt rides on convex it will self center and stay on it without any guides. However, with too much sideways force it will run of, so for the convex pulley surface to work the system needs to be pretty well built and in line 👍

@Mr.Engineer. Keep on spitting out that content! 😄: SURE WILL!! 👌
I could have really used that the other day. came like a meter of snow in 3 days here in southern norway and that is more than er are used to in such a short time, so i/my car was snowed in untill a big ass excevator came and cleared the road i'm on.
good content, but in the old days they would just twist the belt. you see that a lot on old farm equipment. Although, one could also have fun with a planetary gear set there. 😁 Also, a good time to convert to hydro, although only beneficial if you have high snow.
Хорошая работа👍

Wow, toujours super intéressants et impressionants tes projets! Très jaloux de ta shop!!! Est-ce que le ''auger'' ne devrait pas dépasser du caisson? Me semble que si tu t'approches trop pres les lames vont grignoter l'objet?
You might want to consider adding a chain from the loader support (front bumper) to the loader torque tube to limit upward travel of the loader while its connected. That way you dont over lift the loader, disconnecting the PTO shaft.

What was your thinking of using a plastic pulley?
"I don't have a sand blasting booth" lol this is where I get to brag about finding one on market place for $60 CAD last week :P
Love the ingenuity in your drive system! Just curious though why you didn't go for a hydraulic pump and motor... heck it would have solved your rotation issue and given you huge range of motion on the loader, *and* let you engage and disengage the blower, no? Would the power loss have been an issue?
