I am looking to do something similar, so how many coats did u need to put on all of the red-painted areas, and what was the drying time in between coats? A reply would really be appreciated.

4 to 5 coats of paint. I used an heatgun to speed up the drying process

A properly sealed custom can be wiped down with a wet cloth, I wouldnt toss em in the washer though

Yes it will last, proper prep of leather, proper applying and curing of paints, and use acrylic finisher. When washing them, just wash them carefully and you can use wet cloth

I do customs. Dont sweat thinking a custom is "fake". I sell Breds, Shattered Backboards and Shadow customs all the time made out of Cyber Monday Jordans.

You have to prep the leather and seal it properly. I make custom Jordans Highs, not mids though. Never once had a paint issue come back.
