Looks beautiful and I didn't realise you could use a router on the inlet ports like that. What a lovely result. Cheers.

Aluminum works well with woodworking tools. The only thing that you must do is use a lubricant like WD40 as he did or stick wax which is actually a superior solution. Paint stick wax on a carbide table saw blade and you can cut aluminum all day long. Walter makes a stick wax called Alumi-Kut that works great as does Relton which makes Stik-Kut. Both of these are wax sticks.

That looks awesome, you should put an "Urchfab" logo on it, perhaps cut out of another bit of ally and welded on the top of the plenum

I really love using wood tools on aluminum. I never would have thought of using a router to make the radius like that and it seems to work like a charm.

Very neat Matt! High reuse of OEM parts, smooth adaptations and passages. It ought to go like two penny bottle rocket! I could weld- 30 years ago; what you do is way different than the stick for this that and the other I learned and didn't keep up- I will therefore commenting re your welding beyond the fact that your fabrication skills and ability to visualize are fantastic! Hope all the big problems are fast becomming much smaller- knowing your work I feel confident you will put them all to rest. Thank you for another peek at how the magic gets done!

Excellent work. Maybe next time fully port your runners when the plenum is removed. Keep some taper to them also. You could have made the plenum angle out towards the right fender and aim the throttle towards the intercooler outlet. Keep up the good work.

Awesome job! Was hoping it would end with a start up of the engine though. Shortening the runners of the intake will move the peak power higher in the rpm range, but at the cost of a little bit of torque. Curious how the tuning might need adjusted with the drastic increase in plenum volume too.
