Custom HO CSX Heritage Units- Seaboard System 1982 + Chessie 1973

Had the chance to take a friend's latest project out for a spin, completing both the Seaboard System and Chessie ES44's in HO. MTH HO units were used as the core, lights and motherboard were fully gutted in favor of an LED upgrade, NixTrains Decoder Buddy, and Loksound 5 21 pin. Timestamps included to check the engine of preference out!

Props to the guy who did these for you, he did a good enough job that you could probably fool someone into believing these are production models. The fact you put a track geometry scanning car behind them was a neat touch.

All his project engines! Just let me work the camera and borrow for the video. I did the geo car, more details in that are in a separate video on channel.
These are pretty well done! Props to whoever painted these, they look great!

Lighting was worked in with matching to ST production units in mind.

I’m blind because of the shiniest locomotives (I wish I had those)
Real super, my only criticism and not with the model but the real thing is the blend between old and new, maybe a yellow stripe to break the colours
