You guys did an amazing job! I think using the awl along with completing each fiber install before you start the next hole-insert fiber-glue -snip is a SOLID PROCESS. It's a Zen approach and before you know it..... You're done ✅. And, totally mentally grounded 😉 I think instead of the glue the crystal clear, fast setting Gorilla glue is a good alternative to the hot glue gone. I've noticed that working out real well from watching other installs. Great idea too on careful drill in plastic roof pieces-then awl for doing those headed plastic trim areas..... Great job!!

Thats a good looking truck. I just installed 150 kit in my 07 Chevy Trailblazer and was able to cover the full headliner spacing the lights apart every 2-6"in.

Looks really good!

Whenever possible reinstall screws hand tight to original locations after trim removal is complete to avoid losing and confusing screws.

That pokey thing is like an awl used to score/ mark metal and Glass . I use that for metal fab

How did u manage to get the headliner out with the back sliding glass? I have an 18’ Silverado with sliding back glass so I’m kinda iffy about it..

How do you got your lights ran I have a gmc sierra 1500 2019 and ran mine to the battery and the dealership claim it blew my bcm but they revived it

Do you live in the southern states? I just installed this kit in my truck and I'm worried about the alabama heat melting the fiber optics that is against the metal of my roof.

I think 550 is just right, maybe a little more but 1000 is too much. 700 should be the max for this type of headliner

Hey man looks sick. Do you happen to have the name or a link to the needle you guys used? I wanna do this to my f150 and most people use a drill bit the whole time but as you guys said you go too far and it rips a hole.
