@@Hexx.cosplay so in Season 2 episode 2 of the adams family show from the 60s they dive into a flashback of how Gomez Addams and Morticia Frump met in which he was engaged to her sister, who grew flowers out of her hair, and in the episode we find out Gomez is allergic to all flowers. So Morticia does in fact cut the flowers off because he is allergic. It’s not a fan theory but a 60s show cannon is it cannon to the comic shorts the show is based on or the 90s movie? No one knows but it’s still cannon to part of the continuity

It's so strange to see Gomez so stoic. I'm used to the 60's version with John Astin, he had a perpetual smile, and he was absolutely unhinged, which made him such a stark contrast with stone faced Morticia as played perfectly by THE Carolyn Jones. I can't wait to see how you make Pugsley, Fester, Grandmama, and Lurch (I know Lurch isn't an TECHNICALLY Addams, but he's practically part of the family).

I'm used to both the 60s and the 90s version (played by Raul Julia) and neither are stoic. I'm not sure where Hextian gets "stoic." I didn't recognize this Gomez. Raul's version is passionate, going from one emotion to the next, to and fro yet somehow put together. He's a foil to Morticia. It's when he loses his house that he becomes emotionless and dull that Morticia gets annoyed with him in the first movie in 1991.

Gomez was very lively in both variations in the 60s and 90s he loves playing with his trains to losing money it was Morticia who was the one who was subtle in emotions. Gomez was stoic in the sense he blows himself up near TNT and comes out smiling like "All this exploding got me hungry, whats for lunch?" And Morticia's like "Eye of Yaks"

@@femboynation I don't know about My Hero Academica, but I do know about Danganronpa, and the relations you named are non-canon ships and I would also argue that not all of them are exactly healthy. Morticia and Gomez are married, and their main thing is being madly in love with each other, so I don't think they're really comparable.

@@femboynation I just don't think the two instances can be compared with one having very explicit displays of affection and the other being a more "will they won't they"-thing that could also just be platonic friendship. I also think a key difference is that Morticia and Gomez are a married TV couple and usually those married TV couples in sitcoms are displayed to be borderline disfunctional and out-of-love. That's the main reason Morticia and Gomez are so iconic, they set the bar for married life really high by falling in love with each other every day. Your examples are teens that experience a more puppylove kind of affection, which is actually pretty common (and most of the time also really wholesome) in TV-Sitcoms. I'm just going to go with the Danganronpa Example... Naegiri have more of a puppy love affection for each other, typical teens exploring romantic feelings/growing closer in dire situations. The equivalent to Morticia and Gomez would be Makotos parents (now, we don't see much of them, but what we see seems to be pretty functional). Do you see what i mean? And for the second comment... I'd argue that Fuyuhiko and Peko wouldn't make the healthiest couple. Yes, the dynamic can work, but the way they were left off in the series I feel like they would have to work on their relationship quite a bit before a even power dynamic could be established.

I've always been partial to the 60's Addam's Family show, that Gomez was my favorite. But Raul Julia had such an amazing take on the character, SO different from John Astin's version but both are incredible in their own ways

That is such an oddly shaped doll, with his long neck, small head, and small eyes. I wasn't sure if it would look right, but you made him look very masculine and "beyond human." Love his expression. Also your cosplay was awesome!

This just makes me think you could do SO MUCH for a Dio Brando doll. Hes masculine but also incredibly beautiful and extremely flamboyant and extra! He’d be right up your alley! Or even Mikitaka, who has a lot of room for interpretation!

Hextian, you looked exactly like Johnny Depp as Gomez. Also, the original doll features reminded me of Rege, I think that's his name, from Bricgerton, the duke, but I really love this. Keep up the great work

From a boring it doll to a master piece ☠️🖤 Hextian made it 🖤 I love Him.

I'm a 90's Adams family fan forever. The 90's Morticia and Gomez will always be the icons of the Adams couple for me. Your Gomez doll made me blush. He has a classical 1930's beauty about him you don't see anymore these days. It also reminded me of the boy friend of the Gene Marshall dolls. It's a very hard doll to find and own but he also had a Gomez/ Clark Gable 1930's that made it very sexy. Long story short ( too late lol) you succeeded again in recreating an Adam's family character. I can see why Morticia wanted to marry him.

I can't wait for the rest of the Addams family members. I hope once this family is complete we keep doing more annual Halloween themed dolls, like the Munsters next.
