A wood workers tip: For drawing lines around edges, at your timestamp 26:28, try placing your pencil in the middle of different width washers, of the width you like, and you will get lines which are equal distanced uniformly, from the opening. The insert you have, can become the edge you press the outside of the washer's edge, as you go around the opening...keeping your pencil line consistent...and faster then free-hand drawing.

@@SprayWayCustoms I saw where you had to drive to Atlanta for something, where are you located? I’m a couple hours South of Atlanta, which is why I am asking.
I envy your freedom, I have spent an entire career chasing restoration perfection for mopar owners. Everything, and i really mean everything has to be done to batshit crazy level stock perfection, especially paint but i could never ever get away with fiberglassing a dash unless i covered it in vinyl. So, I got a lot out of your fleece method, pretty clever. Thanks!

My husband and I just bought an RV (2005, needs.. work). I can't honestly say I've ever been much of a car enthusiast, but I'm always intrigued to watch and learn how others craft/construct things from scratch. If I can do something myself then most of the time I will, and after watching your videos I'm feeling a lot more confident in giving customizing the dashboard a shot. Your videos are very thorough, informative, and your craftsmanship is high-caliber! Thank you for the work you've posted on your channel. 🙏 Here's hoping the mister and I can nerd out and collaborate on some concept sketches soon, and I can construct a spaceship-themed dashboard/cockpit (perhaps LED lights, backlit button labels, touchscreen, HUD- we'll see). Keep up the good work!
