    Love your setup! You’re good at using your router in freehand mode. Next time set a a straight edge with a couple of clamps to guide you. You will save time and get a more accurate cut.

    Like your workbench layout and that the tools fold down. Great planning, however, I think you should have used two layers of plywood for the top. Extra strength.

    Amazing freehand routing but wouldn't it have been easier to use some straight edge guides? That workbench with fold-up power tools is GENIUS! Sweet magnetic vacuum connection! Very nice video, well done. All the best, Rob in Switzerland

    I've installed two of those Bosch router plates because I got them for $15 each. For that price they are OK but they would never be my first choice for a router plate. The bevels along the perimeter are far to aggressive and all those extra holes collect wood chips. I'm going to fill in the unused holes with epoxy.

    I enjoy your design and attention to detail! 1 piece of constructive criticism would be to edit down the actual building process, for example I don't need to see the entire process of routing out for the router plate. I would rather enjoy a clip of you speaking "this is what I'm about to do" then a "this is how it turned out", or "here's this issue I need to figure out a solution to" with a far quicker time lapse. It also has the benefit of getting more of your personality during the video.

    Was there a specific reason why you couldn’t just extend the t track all the way to the edge of the table so you could slide the hardware for the clamps? Btw you are a genius! Love the table, keep up the great work. God bless

    Great question. Yes! I put at least two coats of a satin finish water based polyurethane. I love the water based option because there is almost no odor and it cleans up with soap and water.

    Great addition to the table... I just ordered a set of plans for this table. Couple of questions: 1-i know your router has an on/off switch, but is it a “trigger” style (that is to say..., press it and the tool is activated, release it, and the tool shuts off)..., and if so, how did you “rig” it...? Power cord into a junction box & duplex receptacles, with a separate switch that was re-wired into the tool switch...? 2-what is the flex tubing for the vacuum exhaust, and where can it be sourced...? Thank you.

  • @phillipreborn

    @phillipreborn

    Thank you! My router is only operated by the on off switch on the side of the tool so no rigging was required. Here is an amazon link for the tubing amzn.to/3gmYl5i
