Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

Episode #716 - Today was AWESOME!! Dad and I traveled to Arkansas to do a sweet little project with Matt Outlaw for 731 Woodworks. He came up with the idea for a custom wireless charge for his new Apple Watch Ultra and asked us to carve the logo in it. We love how this project turned out!

    You might want to use a scraper to get most of the paint off. That way the paint won't clog your sanding disk.

    Hi Kenneth, Thanks so much for watching. The paper we used is just the backing from any computer label. It's the shinny / slick part you normally throw away. You can also use Freezer paper that's made for inkjet computers. Does the clear plate make a difference? I have a hard time seeing my letters with my base plate that came with my dewalt plunge plus it’s so bulky I need all the help I can get. Thanks and love the video as usual! Very inspirational

  • @oldave100

    @oldave100

    Жыл бұрын

    The clear plate makes a big difference. The best thing about the plate is having more control because your hands are on the base and on the board at the same time. I really don't like the plunge base for carving signs for exactly that reason, to clumsy and your hands aren't down on the board. Fixed base work lots better for sign carving. If you have any other questions you can email me, eric@makeawoodsign.com. Thank you for watching!!!
