    You should consider making a video of just the machine grinding down the wood inlays. It is so satisfying to see the revelation of the wood underneath!

    I'd like to see a demo of how you achieve the cnc files for the inlay. Both the cut out & the inverted insert. I've just ordered a onefinity cnc & this is exactly the type of projects i would like to do. It could be a real niche market for where i am (Qld Aust). Great work

    That’s beautiful work you are doing there. What CNC machines do you use? At least I recognize a Stepcraft Q-Series for the general shape of the board. Is there a particular reason for using different machines for the carving and the outside contour?

    How do you make such a thin end grain blank for the plug? Do you make a thicker one and then resaw it somehow? Do you flatten them in CNC or planer?

    Awesome video. I’m new. I just got cnc & laser cutter (stepcraft & FSL). Great work. Just subscribed. 2 questions if I can’t. Software? I have (unused) v carve pro. Is that program? And I see you move boards. Is there a problem with placement. In other words….if you move board, can it become a problem if it’s not lined up. Thanks in advance.

    it looks like you do not use a clearance tool and just use the Amana Tool - 46473 for all the pocket and plug work ?

    i am using a 1/8 flat nose as a clearance tool.

    @@Broinwood i see it now. looks like you use the finish tool 46473 first and the use the clearance tool 1/8 RD1600 flat second. that is why i got confused. i did not know you could run the finish first and the clearance second. i thought you had to run clearance first and finish second. thank you for your reply. You do great work

    How do you peel that double sided tape so easily, I bought it because of this page and it takes like 5 min each piece. Haha. It is damn good tape though.

    @@Broinwood I use Vcarve desktop but can not get my male inlay as deep into the female part. i use for the female a start of zero and flat as .02 and male start of .18 and flat of .002. these are in inches but if you use MM then post that and I can go from that. thank you.
