Their was some animal shelters built for Dallas County a few years back and the Lowest Bidder screwed up the main waste drain. It was on the news....remembered how ridiculous it was. Your experience shows

As long as drain is level the water would still flow due to the drain pipe, I’ve installed 100s of feet of this stuff.

I really enjoy your videos, I see you always screed by hand and never with a powerscreed,. I’m used to seeing all bigger slabs being screeded with a power screed. What’s your opinion on the use these tools??

What is the purpose of the interior beams? I had a 1200 sf addition put on our home and there were no interior beams. The footings were only 12" deep, and had only a single #5 rebar top and bottom. I was skeptical but the plans were engineered. I'd have thought that since we have nothing but sand where we're at that it would have had more.

To give slab strength. Think of a pancake and a waffle. Sand is very stable. Maybe that’s why you didn’t have interior beams.

Not even close to the quality of slab as in the previous video!! I predict slab failure sooner on this one since he chose to use steel reinforcement over natural fibers. And that 5" slab will NEVER cure properly with all of that plastic beneath it!!

"Concrete is not self-leveling." NOT TRUE. I just watched a video two days ago made by an expert in Texas that showed leveling powder added to the concrete after it is poured. You just add buckets full of water (for strength) and drink beer while the concrete does its thing. "How to Pour Concrete for $1 a Square Foot" Check it out and save yourself some time!
