Goodness you’re too kind! Thank you so much for watching, I’m glad you enjoyed it!! 😊
Thank you Beth for teaching me the Rosette stitch. I actually thought it was a blanket stitch until you demonstrated it. So cool, I love it. I also really love the way you created all those cute, adorable Blythe shoes and those boots are so cool. They remind me of my Sorel Winter boots. My Blythe Doll Lilly has the original Blythe feet and they are much smaller than the Neo Blythe Dolls. Not sure if these patterns would fit her tiny feet or not. I have been purchasing Barbie boots or the Blythe Doll boots that come with the Themed Blythe Dolls that people sell individually. They fit her feet really well. I would also love to see you make a Victorian long skirt with a high collared blouse with Leg O 'Mutton Sleeves and a Chatelaine for her waist area to wear. Maybe have her hair in a high bun and off her collar and she can carry a Victorian carpet bag for her knitting when she has her time off. How does that sound? I love Historical period clothing besides Mushrooms. I hope to sew a Germanic Dirndl for my Lilly doll one day. I want to make her a Little Red Riding Hood costume one day as well and have red mushrooms coming out of the forest all over the place as she is walking through the Forest to Grandma's house with her little basket with a red and white gingham cloth over the bread and cheese for Grandmother. I also love your sketches of Blythe ideas too. You are a very good artist. I noticed that long ago.

Thanks again Elaine! Oh yes I can just picture that wonderful ensemble! Have you seen Bernadette Banner's channel? She sews historical fashions and dresses beautifully too. Oh your Little Red Riding Hood sounds wonderful, I have a sketch somewhere for a Blythe version I plan to make sometime ^_^

Love the videos and patterns! Thank you for hours of fun. I plan to glue lining fabric to leather upper first. Then, I will tape the patterns to the leather and punch right through pattern, leather and liner. I am going to use my sewing machine, without thread, and a very short stitch to punch the decorative and construction stitch lines. After that, I will cut out the pieces. I have leather punches, but no rivets that small, so I am drawing around the holes with metallic ink to make faux eyelets. What do you think of that process?
@BethRamsden

Oh that sounds brilliant! Excellent ideas, especially using the sewing machine to pre punch your stitching holes! 😁 I’m so glad you’re being inspired to create, and I hope you have great fun and success making your boots!! ✨😊✨

❤❤❤perfect, where can I buy these mini eyelets, what size did you use?
@BethRamsden
Жыл бұрын
I bought mine from AliExpress, but that specific listing is no longer available. They were 1.5mm size, and were labelled as: '200pcs/lot Metal Eyelets Grommets 1.5mm for Leather Craft DIY Scrapbooking Shoes' - Hope that helps! ^_^
Hi, where to find these hole rings plus Tool, how is it called? Thanks already, loved your video
@BethRamsden
2 жыл бұрын
Hi Marjan! The hole rings are called Eyelets, and the tool that makes the holes would be a Leather Hole Punch. You'll find them both in hardware shops, Amazon, eBay, AliExpress etc.. Hope that helps! ^_^

Gracias por compartir ¿Qué tamaño de remaches son los adecuados para blythe?? Diámetro Y también de botones? El otro día compré en AliExpress botones y eran muy pequeños no valen a blythe
@BethRamsden
3 жыл бұрын
