Looks like you forgot that terminators natively get +1 to hit against the oath target - could have changed things quite a bit in the marine's favor.

I painted up the army to bring to MWG so I didn’t have a ton of experience with it. Definitely missed some things, you’re right the +1 to hit would have been a good one to remember, whoops

Caladuis grav tank has Lethal hits on the landraider. :D

I love the idea that the Custodes are doing a Training session. No one dies, but still testing their merit.

Nice report. Marines player was too passive imo, but that's all right. And i scratched my head when he pushed his dreds towards the golden boys, shoot, didn't charge them ( for some reason ), next turn get charged and lose dred just like that. That was weird decision.

A lot of land raiders floating around that were built before free war gear and thus were not built with multi meltas

Thought you weren't allowed to end your move on top of objectives? New to 49k just wondering. And also I thought you scored points in your command phase not end of turn?

I just bought a 1500 point custodes army recently. Shouldn't you have gotten a 4+ FNP roll for devastating wounds? At 54:30

How was it possible that the dread was getting 2+ saves, I tought you cannotgo lower that 3+, was that changed?

The dreadnought has a native save of 2+. You cannot improve a save better than 3+ using cover

The blade wizard He makes 3 wound problems just disappear

he also had 3 more attacks then he should have, he only gets 5 attacks with victus, not 8

@@thomy1516 It gives him +2 attacks, but still rolled 1 to many and got a sustained as well, 1 AP-3 3D dev wounds attack is alot.

See core rules p.17 Unless you use the custodian guard 'sentinel storm' ability, but you have to state that, it's once per battle, and why wouldn't you shoot again with your main weapon? 😀

@@edwindeleeuw6590 Their weapons are kind of weird, the spears are assault and the swords are assault and pistol so the mixed units have different ranges

Great batrep. Very clear what was happening and two chill and reasonable dudes. I did want to point out that at 50:55 when the Marine player was shooting his Terminators at the Custodian Guard he decided to fire his storm bolters before his smite so as to not waste the higher damage from the smite on a guy with one wound left. All shooting from a unit takes place simultaneously so all of the weapons should have been rolled to hit and wound and then let the Custodes player allocate the wounds and save from there. The rule is that way to specifically prevent that sort of thing.

All weapons shooting simultaneously only affects when trying to pull models from line of sight. You can shoot your weaker weapons first then stronger stuff after that no problem. Maybe I’m just not understanding what you’re meaning.

Custodian guy turn 2 marine was such a baby. "Well atleast the games not over" when his opponent didnt kill the Telemnon.. Would hate to play against that. But then later in the game once winning he was a gentleman. Seems pretty typical

Infiltrators had feel no pain 6+. Otherwise great looking armys. Pls don t trigger us this much anymore. Lots of mistakes

The constant camera moving and shaking makes this impossible to watch.
