CURRY CHOLAY RECIPE INGREDIENTS :
Black chickpeas 500 gm
Green chilies 10 - 12
Gram flour 3 tbsp
Tamarind pulp ¼ cup
Oil ½ cup
Cucumber powder 1 tsp
Crushed red chilies 1 tsp
Whole zeera 1 tbsp
Curry leaves as a req
Potatoes 2
Desiccated coconut 1 tbsp
Ginger garlic 1 tbsp
Yogurt 250 gm
Salt to taste
Ingredients for Garnishing :
Mint leaves
Coriander
Papdi
Onion sliced
Chat masala
Tomato chopped
METHOD :
Soak the chickpeas, add soda, and keep it overnight, discard the water in the morning, add water again, boil it for 1-2 hours, and then strain. Heat oil, add cumin, curry leaves, ginger garlic paste, now add chickpeas and small cubes of potatoes, cumin powder, crushed red chili, salt to taste, and mix for 4 mins, mix well. Take a blender, add yogurt, green chili, desiccated coconut, add 1 cup water and then blend. Add this to the chickpeas batter, add 1 cup water, imli pulp, and let it cook, you can keep the consistency as you want, garnish it from the top, and serve.
BEEF STUDENT BIRYANI RECIPE INGREDIENTS :
Beef 1 kg
Rice 1 kg
Ginger Julienne 5 inch piece
Sugar1 tsp
Bombay biryani 1 packet
Karachi beef biryani ½ packet
Tomatoes (thin slices medium) 6 - 8
Potatoes ½ kg
Coriander ¼ bunch
Mint leaves ¼ bunch
Cumin 1 ½ tsp
Deghi red chili 1 ½ tbsp.
Nutmeg mace ¼ tsp
Whole spices as required
Turmeric ½ tsp
Coriander powder 1 tsp
Yogurt 2 cups
Transparent onion 3 - 4
Fried onion 1 ½ cup
Oil 1 cup
Biryani color ½ tsp
Screw pine 1 tbsp
Small chilies 10 - 12
Ginger garlic paste 4 -5 tbsp
METHOD :
Take a pan, add beef, add 3-4 cups water, but garam masala, salt to taste, ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp, and then add beef yakhni 1 cup, and cook. Cut the potatoes, pour the color over it, add water, give it one boil, and then take it out. Take a big pot, add oil, then add 5-6 onions thinly sliced, turn them into transparent, add tomatoes, add coriander, mint, and green chilies, and mix them well, as the tomatoes are cooked, add ginger garlic paste, Bombay biryani masala, chicken beef biryani masala, add all the spices, whisked yogurt, sugar, mix well, then add beef along with the yakhni and then cook till the beef is tender, then add potatoes, cook for 5 mins, you can add water if required, keep the gravy according to it, then turn off the stove as its cooked. Take rice and soak it for half an hour, then boil, add salt, sabut garam masala if you want, you can squeeze one lemon, boil it 60-70%, and take out half of them while cooking the remaining rice. Keep them separately and strain them. In the pot in which the rice will be cooked, add 1 cup of rice, and spread it at the bottom, from the rice which was half cooked, add the beef masala, and the fried onion over the top, and then biryani color, boiled rice and again fried onions and let it cook after adding ¼ cup oil over it.
