  • @davidroberts6594
    @davidroberts65943 жыл бұрын

    I just got a currus panther myself, very stable, 40 mph is so easy even on rough roads, have not noticed any wobble at all. Maxed out at 53mph yesterday, still very stable. It sucks the battery down pretty quick riding at fast speeds (as with any scooter). Like stated here the tires are somewhat loud but I really don't notice them as the wind noise in your ears is louder than the tires anyway. As with the dualtron thunder the throttle is touchy, hard to drive under 30 mph in dual mode. Single mode is pretty weak, dual mode is insane fun. That is my only complaint is it's either very mild or very wild, nothing in between. Maybe I should do a review on here someday too. Wish I could ride each of the 5000+ watt scooters with the cost of these things, then make a decision based on my favorite as each person has their own preference. Btw, the headlight on this thing is insanely bright, in addition to the lower deck lighting, night riding is easy to see the road.

    As someone wanting a new e scooter I want something that goes 15-20mph, 15-20 miles, doesn’t feel to cheap and do it while holding 300lbs.... I can allow if there is uphills that the battery would drain faster. But I also don’t want it to be priced out of the park. $300-$500 range would be fantastic. Fancy stuff like a head light or brake lights doesn’t matter. Just do the basics. That’s what I want and need.

    Yeah, I think it comes down to the pin design they're using where it folds. It works ok, but not the best. Cost and range is about the same as a Dualtron thunder, ~$3700? and maybe 35-50 miles of range depending on how fast you're going.

There is a ton of science behind how much and often you're supposed to charge the cells, but the technology is fairly forgiving and it's not really worth stressing over. The only thing I tell people is just don't leave it at a full charge for more than a few days. Besides that just charge it whenever you want and enjoy riding it! My cousin thinks there's an issue with the EY3 overheating or something. Still unable to ride the Panther, it will go 50-100ft and then stop. Got to wait for the exclamation point to go off the EY3 screen and the scooter will accelerate again, but not go very far. Not sure exactly what's wrong with the Panther. Very frustrating! Most of the larger escooter batteries are not swappable, but that would've be very fun or practical because the batteries are so heavy. What you could do though is mount a second battery on the stem to increase the range. If you mounted a second Currus Panther battery you could probably get close to 100 miles of range riding conservatively.

    There is one silver button on the left side- out for single mode, in for dual mode. Max speeds in single mode is 27-34 mph depending on the street flatness and headwind. Its very difficult to drive smoothly in dual mode especially under 30 mph- the minimotors throttle is extremely sensitive. I ususally ride in single but hit the button to get me upto speed quick, then back to single. Any incline needs dual- its basically very tame or very angry.

I like the MTB style full-face helmet but the shape of it catches more air than other style helmets. Once you go past 25MPH it is very noticeable but manageable. I like the Panther. South Korea is really the mecca of muscle scooters. I spent a couple hours this past week to learn how to ride an EUC (Kingsong 14). It was the only PEV I didn't know how to ride and I wanted to see how it compares to a Onewheel. I was able to rent it for 1 week. EUCs are very fun and I can see why people prefer riding them. Yeah, it's pretty cool, but definitely not cheap. Hopefully the prices will go down in the future though. 👽🖖

    this is the same price as the Thunder. Which one would you have overall, this or Thunder?

    Both are really awesome scooters, but I think I would go with the Panther, I just love the look of it, and I think it's a better deal.

    @@AlienRides yea I like all the specs about the Panther especially the made in Korea part. This beast is kinda ugly though IMO. Also why can't they build scooters without stem wobble? For these prices, I figure they wouldn't fix that by now.

    panther or thunder? which one handles better and has higher top speed. I know the Thunder has lg Cells and the panther has samsung . Which is better. How about the braking between the 2? thanks

    They are both basically the same performance. Personally I'm recommending the Panther over the Thunder these days as I do think the quality is slightly better. Both are really awesome scooters. Maybe I can do a comparison video in the future.

    @@AlienRides how can you compare the ride between the 2. Hows the driving position compared to the thunder. I cant decide between the 2

    Euro_CarConnection honestly I find position and ride quality to be similar, onyl difference is the off-road tires on the Currus. You can always change them though. I’m recommending Currus because I think it’s higher quality.

    @@AlienRides would you say the Currus feels more stable at high speeds. It looks as though the front end is in a very high position. i know its hard to compare because of the tires being off road. Im guessing with on road tires it will feel more stable at high speeds

    Hello, I would say that the NF11/Panther is not more powerful than a Thunder, but pretty much the exact same performance. They both put out the exact same watts and use the same components. Both are pretty awesome rides.

    @@AlienRides hello, thank you for your answer. I think i will buy the nf11 because it looks more résistant than thunder and i'm pretty heavy😂. Good Rides bro😉
