Chess Month is dead. Long live Chess Month.
Actually the boardgame's quite large, it makes a standard reference pineapple look small.

when I played that I did what everyone does and played A LOT. I saw the belts when I shut my eyes. All was belts, all was efficiency and spaghetti.

That reference pineapple really got me
Matt, your videos are consistently technically impressive. I don't know if it's the colour grading or the lighting or the oranges and wood in the 'set', but it's like watching visual candy; the colours absolutely pop every time.
That "Better hands may be available" hit me hard, as it made me think of Rockbiter. They look like good strong hands, don't they?

I’m really happy that I’m finally able to donate to you guys. Thank you for the videos, podcasts, and streams. They have always been a source of joy and entertainment for me and, especially this year, I really appreciate that. Seriously I can’t articulate how much your site means to me. Thank you.
I donated for the first time this year and I encourage anyone else who has thought about it to do it too!

I'm pretty sure my time watching board game videos is way above time on Netflix... So figured I'd start chipping in for my favorite channel. Here's to another year of SUSD!
I was just about to rewatch the Gloomhammer review and now I don't have to.
Finally, a game I owned before a SU&SD review came out for it 😆
Megalomaniac Tom is pretty fantastic.
Matt: "I'm fine!" Also Matt: : "Nobody is fine..."
Loved villain Tom - very Time Crisis 2. Classic SU&SD review, making me excited for a game I’d never have heard of otherwise and probably will not pick up, but if I see this in a board game cafe? Oh boy 🤓
One of the many wonderful things about your videos is that you direct people to the games best suited to them. Win win for designers and for people who play games.
i hope to see more of unapologetically merciless older gamer tom in future reviews!
You folks keep us inspired and motivated to play board games and make content around them. You certainly invite many new faces to the hobby and we are always thankful for that!
Sorry Matt, but I must inform you that your standard reference pineapple might actually have been a standard reference prickly pear. It happens, man. Just check the tag next time.

Maybe it’s a spineapple
What a great review, thanks Matt! Wasn’t sure about this one when you played it on the stream, but definitely feel like I have a much better feel for it now.
I have discovered I want a mega-expensive kickstarter with real conveyor belts, thank you. :)
The light I need in these dark times. Thank you SU&SD.
Can we get an opener style recipe for gloopy prop friends please!

Let's get ~~extravagant~~ gloopy
That script got a lot of love. Great structure!
Obviously Tom did not play enough Dragon Quest to realize innocuous looking slime will kill you with a smile.
Just the scaffold mechanic is so beautiful. Perfect mix of form and function.
I got Pipeline and sold it away after a couple of plays just because I wasn't able to grok it. And in this game, not only would I be facing myself (my worst enemy in Pipeline) but also someone else?? I'll leave well enough alone.
This review is an excellent piece of art because I agree with it.
Villainous Tom is excellent. Please look for more reviews to act evil.

Act. Yes. Probably.
$10 sent your way! best I could do for now. thanks for the great content!
I love your shirt today, Matt. You look very nice.
Ok, i love that scaffolding thing. I dont know why that particular component, but I love it.
So if I have Pipeline, do I need this one too?
Fantastic review. This looks like something I need to try.
Been a while since the last upload. Missing me some SU&SD
Nothing scares me...but those fadeaways.....that keeps me up at night
That outro song was delicious!
Hi Tom, you should get onto that black mould forming above your window., its a significant health risk if left untreated.
I want to bite those slimes so badly...

"Reasons we'll come back to later." That made my whole day. It such a villain line. xD
The reference pineapple was the most british joke I think I have ever heard.
I loved the Tom part on this review! And the slime people!
Thanks for making this video!
This was a delightful video :) cheers!
"The crunch beneath this gloop is hot" made me laugh so hard...
Thanks for the review!
Shocked this isn’t just called “Pipeline Duel”
That is obviously a prickly pear
Matt made this sound like the best game ever made.
The reference pineapple is wonderful 😄
Wish my pre-order will arrive already, it's been shipping for a month. Love Pipeline, it's the reason I jumped on this one straight away. Glad to see it's a winner
I finally know what to get my family for christmas!!!! Time to buy gelatine.
You should do something about this black mold over the window, Tom.
Can evil Tom be a reoccurring player 2 on all reviews? Just reuse the same clips. 😂
That SRPA cracked me up!
With this excellent review I’ve finally realized that you’ve given me far too much great content over the years for me not to donate. My days as a freeloader are over. Take my money!
4:19 Hey that's in Gunkimono!
Thanks for the review! It was an instant buy for me afterwards. I received my copy last week, 5 and a half months after placing order (brexit...) and it is as fun and great as you described. I would recommend it to all 1:1 boardgame enthusiasts!
I'd love to see a video on how to make little slime people!
This review made me happy :)
Anyone else try to get the slimes to jiggle more by waving their phone about? Only me? Oh...
Very good review :)
Tom's "oh what?" reaction to being told that slavery is illegal just cracks me up XD
Great video!
0:36 is that mold above Tom's window? Might want to get that looked at.
Matthew Lees He likes peas He draws faces on his knees.
The hair. THE HAIR!
That pinapple seemed to miss a letter.
Love your videos bro, sent you some cash!
Tom reminds me of a young Ian McDiarmid
you could say. this game is a pipe dream.
Yay! The pear is back 🙂
ooooh, hot gloopy grunch get your daily bowl
Could you guys do a review of Dice Throne (or of Dice Throne Adventures when it is eventually officially released)?
Gawd darnit... these guys always make me wanna buy the game!
Tom has mold in his home. Pay him better.
I literally ordered this game from Amazon before I had finished your review. My wife will LOVE this!

I literally just did the same!
ohh matt an utterly amazing, quick, pipe game. I thought it was just a pipe dream. . . Definitely seems like a very curious head to head game
You guys should make a video with 10 or so of the best starter hobbyist board/card games (pandemic, love letter, ticket to ride, etc.) I’m pretty new into tabletop and I’m never sure if I’ve just completely missed out on some of the best beginner ones bc all I have to learn from is bgg.com or what you guys review.
Where did you managed to get a pineapple this time of year??
Evil Tom looks like... 15 years older then Good Tom. I guess they call them Baby Face for a reason.
🔥 review
Hey. Before you guys do your Kingdom Rush review... can you make sure to get the Puzzle book teaching and learning guide I am offering for it? It should resolve any concerns with the rulebook making it very easy to get into :) It's planned to be officially released in January, I believe :) This is my shot at making a difference in rulebook editing that I've been trying to do for a while now. Please let me know your thoughts about it!
Villainous Tom is my favorite Tom.
Chess isn't boring and ill die on this hill
You loved Crokinole, give Carrom a chance please! I would love to see if it is as good as I can't get hold of a Crokiole board without shelling out lol (Or sell me your Crokiole table as they are rare as rocking horse poop in the UK :P )
Ah wanting to play a game that I am just awful at. Reminds me of Concordia.
Love the slime people!
As we continue on to the 9th month of chess month, let me just say, boy howdy do I love chess 🙃
Money is on its way!
Megagame makers say that the scientist teams, such a fundamental part of our post space race, post X-Com society, are the hardest to come up with mechanics for. I've frequently wondered if combining Engineering with Science-ing via an evolving competitive/cooperative grid based card game about "pipe laying" would fill that nitch.
That pineapple is battlefruit
I'm too clumsy to play a game like this, I'd knock all the pieces everywhere within a couple minutes
Serious question.... Where are the new videos? I'm going through withdrawal
Missed a trick with a standard pear-christingle.
You mentioned Pipeline but never mentioned if you figured out what oil is.
I haven’t told my partner I bought this yet :( considering wrapping it as a present for her but really, it’s a present for me!
