I’m pretty sure they had to hand drawn this.. it is based on a 1930s cartoon. If this was made on computer it was look was worse and more realistic then this.. the colors and animations to the drawing are what gives this game its look.. if it was clay motion it would probley be twice as long..

I really like this concept. It makes boss fights more difficult, but also speeds them up. It’s great for speed runners of Cuphead.

There's literally no way to make the boss easier You make him sad, you're getting a hurricane worth of tears You make him happy, you get a small vegetable gremlin follow you for the entire fucking fight It's a bit of a lose lose situation

All triggers for Phase Skips: Root Pack: Don't shoot the Onion when it comes out Djimmy The Great: Be a small plane when he is reading your mind Sally Stageplay: Stand on both baby angel cutouts until they are all the way down This is just to clarify how to trigger these unique phases.

So basically you get to skip one phase, but if you do that, the next phase is gonna be harder Seems like a fair trade to me

I think Pachi-Pachi was meant to be one of the King Dice minibosses, based on Pachinko (you know, with the balls falling on those platforms and then to the bottom) but was scrapped because King Dice had enough minibosses as it was.

Radish is a stage hazard, Puphead adds more projectile attacks to an already semi-bullethell boss, and the nun and husband add another layer of attack to the 3rd phase, while also allowing to outright avoid attack in the first phase.

i did the sally husband one on xbox and was like freaking out lol i was so pumped i had no idea there was more!!! now i wanna try getting them

I love the Final Fantasy references in Sally's battle

I love how in the cuphead you can still see/play the things that cut on alpha/beta stages of the game. I wish more games did this.

I hoping the bosses would be there for an April fool's joke

no one is gonna talk about how the people working at the theater knew that the husband was gonna die and they made a cardboard backup

there are scrapped stages and unused enemies but still its very cool that you readded them (also fun fact the grafic of the dad in the sally stageplay´s final form can be found offscreen thought its never seen and it can be still defeated but that does nothing of diferent)

Before anyone asks, I can verify that these secret routes are on other systems as well. I did the Root Pack one on Xbox.

So damn hard, having carrots flying down at you while trying to jump over a spinning radish.

I wish ther was a mode where you could play as bosses in the general boss fights and you can unlock new phases and more phases, I think they should make a second game with that mode after you beat atleast world 1.

Root pack: when the onion appears, dont shoot them at all. Outcome: on the carrot, a radish appears and acts as last phase Sally’s umbrella does. Djimmi: When he scanning you to get the puphead puppet, turn little. Outcome: Puphead’s tiny, and appears on the final phase, shooting out of his straw with all eight ranges the player has on land. Sally: When there’s a chance, stand on the left angel. Then the right. Something falls on the husband and kills him. Outcome: The phases differ slightly. Sally joins a nunnery, and nuns throw what I think are crosses, directly at you, unlike the babies, who threw bottles directly under themselves. Devil Bad ending: Simply press “yes” when given option to hand over contracts or not. Outcome: You get an image of the devil grinning with “corrupted” Cuphead and Mugman laughing.

How to get all secret bosses: Radish: Don't attack the 2nd phase of the root pack Puphead: Become small plane when Djimmy will make controlled cuphead I guess Nun and husband: Don't attack Sally's 1st phase and stay on cupids then kill the husband I guess Pachi-Pachi: It's an unused boss BONUS! To get secret devil ending you need to say yes to devil

I love how they brought back some of the unused bosses and segments. That’s very cool.
