I absolutely love the cartoon style it adopted from cartoons before 1960s. So expressive, vibrant, and silly in a good way.

5:58 This is why mugman is blue and cuphead is red. While red is a warm color that pops out, blue does not pop out as much. And companies(like PayPal)use the color in their logo to appear trustworthy. While red is used by companies(like McDonalds) use the color in their logo to appear fun.

When I first saw a video about it on KZread, I thought this game is based on an old cartoon already existing, but now I know all the artwork was made manually and so many characters and environments were developed for this masterpiece.

Even if you’re a person who doesn’t rage at games, you’re still gonna rage at cuphead.

I knew from the start that flatlife was gonna be big. You just could just feel it you know it’s great to see how far you have come.

I find it very interesting how all the animations were done by hand it’s a good throw back to 1930’s cartoons but I never knew it took about 10 years for the game to come out due to that you could say it’s almost how Squid Game was made because the director had a 10 year journey being rejected by multiple Korean studios

Putting this into consideration, the DLC was probably worked on for 5 years, that’s why it released 5 years after the game came out

cuphead doesnt seem like my type of game but i see why people could like it! its amazing how hard they worked on it!!

Another thing the Parry Slap can do (this is coming from someone who REALLY can’t beat the first dang level, even with 2 players): It can revive the other player if you make contact, yet the more you try revive your mug or cup sibling, the quicker the ghost rises.

These brothers deserve the love and respect for all the hard work they've done. I love Cuphead, and will always love it!!!!!! 😍🙏😃👍

Although I like cuphead I think other games with more copies deserved their own shows like bendy

Beating some bosses gets annoying at times, but I can't stop loving this game! I'm glad to find out how much they invested on it (physically, emotionally and monetarily) through this excellent video.

If you play on the nintendo switch and you wanna get the black-and-white feature faster than to do all the levels as a pacifist just do this, go to your system settings go to change color and put it to grayscale or inverted you can get special effects color swaps

For those who are confused, development started in 2010. The game was finally released in 2017.

Cuphead is a game that will stand the test of time! This game is a work of art!

I knew when playing this game there was alot of homages to the earlyer cartoons of the 20s-30s just by how the game feels but wow they were super creative now that i see in detail how far they worked🙌🏾props to them and the guys wife for being dedicated to his initial project🔥🔥

Been watchin this guy since 2020, still loving his content.

A good idea, dedication and a bunch of talented people. Its rly an amazing game

I remember seeing it before E3 2015 and knowing everything was hand drawn and knowing that I had to have it. 2023 I finally have it because I was waiting for a physical release and the dlc included on switch. I came so close to buy it on pc in 2017.

I've loved this game ever since it was released. As someone who loves those old cartoons, I was smiling like an idiot when it was released

cuphead is one of the first indie games to have its own animated series which makes it like the god of indie games

I finished the game and DLC today. Was a truly excellent game and I loved every minute of it 😃

Hope Alien solider gets another crack of a comeback one day as that was my first run and gun boss rush game then played Cuphead of course so felt very similar but different in their own unique ways ✨🎩

16:06 actually the first half of that fight was inspired by the silly symphony hells bells the second half was inspired by Fantasia. And when you beat the devil you get a trophy called swing you sinners which is a reference to the Max Fletcher cartoon

It’s a nice touch that the narrator mentions the cake quote being attributed to Marie Antoinette and not said by her. While I do not believe that she did or didn’t say it, multiple sources state that she may not have said anything of the sort in her lifetime.

My man will not stop repeating that it was hand-drawn like early Disney animation.

I think the root pack was based on The Three Stooges. The potato is Moe, the onion is Curly & the carrot is Larry.

And it was great game and brilliant design. If they do a 3D one. I just hope they stay true to the games main core mechanics.

Judging by the game play I can tell someone on your team, or you yourself, played cuphead without too much prior knowledge. Considering it’s difficulty, I’m thoroughly impressed that you stuck with it

1 Tip: RENAME THE VIDEO! The Name let it seem like one of thousands of Videos that just shows about 10 sec of Gameplay from early Versions of the game. Videos that even I can make in about 1 or 2 hours. Closely I wouldn't have watched the video because of it. I just though OK, why not it kills 13min. But your video is way more then this.... way way more, and the title should reflect this. "The Creation history of Cuphead" would maybe fit.
