Congats on your new f450 I'm a Ford guy myself and have driven Ford rams and chevy. I don't understand why so many people have a fever with rams and Chevy's and always hating on Ford. Ford has proven to be the best trucks time after time.

Congrats on the New Truck, I like Ford and Ram Trucks, They are both at the top of the list, GM has some catching up to do. As long as you are happy it does not matter what anyone says !

No one can say that any other truck has a nicer interior than the new ram

I just went and test drove all three trucks back to back on the same day. I wanted to like the Ram but when I drove them it was the worst. The mirrors just flat out suck and the rearview mirror was huge. It was dangerous to look around. I liked the ford the best. Great buy.

Hey jay I had a question about the oil fields. I was in a accident last year and messed up my back pretty bad. It hurts all the time especially if I lift heavy things a lot. Is there any hope for me in the oilfields since I can’t be lifting heavy things too quickly?

I too came from a ram 3500 to the f450, totally different reasons. Cummins is better engine. 450 is more of a TOW monster than the 3500, ie braking power, not just gettin it rolling.

@mtrujillo1973 it actually is, that's why most vehicles you see are inline 6's, just the rest of the truck can't handle the stress. I'm a Dodge/Ram person but I like Ford's too and the 2020 10 speed will be my next purchase.

Number 1 thing that's better imo is the rear dually fenders/bed, the ram dually bed is a deal breaker for me. It's just hideous

You still happy with the 450? I’m comparing this exact truck vs the 2020 Cummins 3500 limited. I currently have a 2018 Cummins Laramie 2500 and need more capacity towing. The ford interior looks dated compared to the new rams to me

Glad you became older and wiser and know why FORD is king. Rams suck good motors but everthing else sucks. But don't worry a lot of ram guys are moving to ford we don't judge on when you where young and dumb.

Just FYI I drive both and a lot of my friends that drive the ford for hot shoting have way less problems with our rams, and some of these dudes in the fords have 400k miles

Funny…… I had and sold my 2022 lariat, after test driving a 2022 ram 3500 dually…. The Ram interior was nicer than the fords too. Ordering a 2023 ram 3500 in a few months. Just enjoying no truck payments for a bit

Hey everyone so I'm thinking on buying a 2020 ram 5500 or a 2020 f550 gonna be towing about 25k lbs max just got into the diesel world so yeah I'm a rookie and looking for help I herd that the fords rear diff and suspension is a beast compare to the ram so 🤷🤷

I have that exact ford I got mine at Smith and Edwards in Ogden ut for $10 dollars it's a 1/64 scale and it looks better than the dodge ram

Congrats on the new F-450 Platinum. You'll find it to be a better truck. Not really comparable to the Ram. However, the fuel mileage will always be a bit less, and the 19.5 tires are pricy. Your average tire shop won't deal with those, so you'll have to go to a commercial truck service center. Check out BigTruckBigRV on KZread. He's all about the F-450 and does videos about it's pros and con's.

RAM 3500 limited Megacab dually diesel with AISIN transmission and by far the RAM is a much better truck than the FORD

the cummins is about the only thing good about it. Transmissions can't stand up, even the AISIN, interior quality is garbage. And before you say anything i'm a Dodge/Ram person. Ford makes a better overall package, can't have a great engine (cummins) and not have the rest be quality.

K E ram doesn’t beat and never will bear Ford. Ford has the best chassis in its class. And most power in its class. Ford transmission beats ram all day and 2020 gm and ford transmissions are nearly identical

The ram looks and drives way better than the F450. I drove and tested both and I felt ram is an overall better truck. Especially with the new interior.

100% disagree. Ford F450/350/250 is a far superior truck than the Ram or GM. Not much of a discussion. The Ford is more stable, more power, better technology and superior longevity. The RAM has a good 6.7 cummins but that's it. Truck to Truck overall comparison? Ford all day any day. It's simply a better made truck

@@justinmacd859 That was the 6.0/6.4 era. Most dont know but the 6.0 was way better than the 6.4 junk international put out. The ford 6.7s are virtually indestructible, especially after the 2011 years. Ford has sold 100s of thousands of 6.7 powerstroke trucks with less than 1% having any major issues. Maintenance is key to everything... I have worked with a ford master tech, the new 2020 6.7...IS SUPERIOR TO THE DURAMAX OR CUMMINS....I'm telling you. If I had make a 2nd choice, it would be Ram 6.7 cummins. The Duramax is not even worth mentioning. 2018 duramax 3500hd 20k miles on its 2nd motor from dealership in Brandon fl....father in law owns. He looked at a 2019 Ram 3500hd in pretty black but his wife said she didnt like how Seats felt. So he is waiting for Brandon ford to get a 2020 F450 dually which he will end up trading the duramax in for

2019 ram interiors blow away ford and Chevy. For what the ford costs their interior looks cheap, even on the platinum. Otherwise I like the exterior looks of the ford and their motors are fine. Personally I like the 2019 ram exterior update, but I know not everyone does.

I tried it my father in law, it's not that great. He has had numerous issues with his 2018 3500hd duramax dually. Uncontrollable vibration in the motor...took it to gm dealer 3 times. Finally diagnosed it with bad pushrods...dam truck only has 20k miles. He is a gm guy, but strongly considering trading in for a 2020 ford f450. I told him to go ford (or ram) before he purchased the junk duramax he has now

My 2020 2500HD with the L5P is purely awesome, I tow a 36 ft 5th wheel and a 22 ft bay boat and the truck hardly knows it's back there. This is the 4th Duramax I've had and I've never had a problem with any of them. To be honest though, my last one was traded because of the CP4 that was giving a lot of people problems and I got rid of it because of that. The L5P went with the denso fuel pump, denso injectors and it actually has a lift pump in the tank. GM knocked it out of the park with this truck. Give it a try, you will be impressed at the power this truck posses! Have a great day Reshard!

i know it doesn't affect dependability and it's about taste, but i personally can't stand the front of the new Chevy HD. 2020 superduty's also just got 10 speeds versus the older 6 speeds

Both are great trucks but over all I feel the Ford is way over priced

mtrujillo1973 Yeah, if you buy a old beat heavily modified one.. But that goes for everything. Cummins is far better from my experience, less moving parts, 2 less injectors, easer and less money to maintain, much easier to work on, better gas mileage, more reliable.

Mike Cooley I have an 04 Cummins 3500 it’s been a great truck . Had a 2 gen before that. Never will buy Ford crap. I have had many fam and friends with them, they have had to many problems with them. And when the ford crap breaks most of the time you can’t work on them yourself, you have to take it to a dealer.

Well now u got both n u will see witch one is better , I already know witch one will have problems first and it’s ford for sure I had both trucks also and rams just dose the job and doesn’t complain , ford does it too engine and trans are great but on ford small shit brakes and that puts the truck out off service for day or two where the ram keeps going .

I was pulling 53’ open trailer with both trucks and 18 to 21 motorcycles on the deck and really didn’t need more brakes on 3500 or 350 the only thing sucks about ford that after deleting def n dpf it’s gonna loose Jbrake that would make me buy f450 to have more braking lol but every body have there own options and use truck or cars definitely so now mad that u went with ford at all

Joey Gonzalez I don’t know what version of the story you saw/heard, but the one I saw was the one where DDE got himself involved in something that didn’t involve him and made it a big deal.. Like in what way does DDE fit into a scenario where Royalty does some donuts and the cops get involved, if DDE wasn’t the snitch that brought the cops around in the first place???

I guess it depends. If you want it for work the Ford maybe the way to go but the Ram has all the luxury’s.

When Ford finally gets the interior on level with the Ram they will have a better truck. Until then the interior is were one lives and it sucks in comparison.

Good luck getting the specialty tool to fix anything on the ford when it breaks down, the biggest thing I hate about fords is that they are designed to fail somewhere and guess what You need specialty tools and since they are so expensive you more than likely will need to take it to the dealership costing you a GRIP of cash. No thanks ford.

@@lw6735 im just speaking from experience of friends fords, plus im not saying ram don't have their issues because they do, I mean ford couldn't even make proper spark plugs for years! and yes Specialty tools, my friend got his bumber dented on his F350 Platinum because apparently the sensors don't work while youre talking on the phone and it takes 35 Different parts just to fix the rear bumper its going to cost him 600 bucks to fix that aluminum can of a truck. ford made some decent trucks before but now they just cheap out on so many things like the entire body that's a tin can.

MaxxPayLoad lol Ram Tailgate and hood are aluminum and their sheet metal is thin enough to be weaker than aluminum lol and Chevy all doors tailgate and hood are aluminum and if u check it out it holds up better to dents than steel and by the way diesel trucks don’t have spark plugs lol 😂

@@lw6735 I wasn't talking about diesel trucks specifically just the trucks in general I know that's only for Gas trucks haha, I will give one thing to ford though the 18 models do LOOK nice. im looking into buying a new truck while fixing my old one and just the body of the new fords looks great, I just cant get past the fact that when they breakdown its going to be a hassle. i'll wait a couple years when my buddy puts more miles into his platinum to see... no nvm I cant get a ford haha.
