Great that Andy. The beauty of long-distance walks is the variety and changes in landscape along the way. I think you are walking it in the best way, turning it into a bit of a holiday, not going bonkers and enjoying some campsites, good food and ale along the way. I was in the Black Bull in Coniston myself a few weeks ago, a great pub with good ale too. Looking forward to part two. ATB, Chris 🍺

Watching this after seeing Paul's version. We were at Tarn Hows in January 2022 just after Storm Arnwen blew through and blocked all the paths(and a lot of roads too!). Good to see they've got them opened again. Skelwith looking so tranquil too, it was a raging torrent when we visited, the bridge was nearly halfway filled with water. Looks like a great hike, it's definitely on my to-do list.

Only one thing spoils your KZread videos (for me anyway). Adverts every 6 minutes (on average). It's something I'm finding increasingly annoying & distracting, & 'your' channel seems to have more adverts than most others. It's not easy to get settled in Cumbria & the experience when you're regularly interrupted by people selling sofa's or fast food, insurance etc.
