Cumbres & Toltec Scenic Steam Train
Steam on the Cumbres & Toltec Scenic Railroad. This narrow gauge railroad operates on the former Denver & Rio Grande Western from Chama, NM to Antonito, CO with a number of K-36 type 2-8-2 steam locomotives.

This place will never cease to amaze me. And I've been saying it more often after my visit last summer. It's by far one of the best tourists in all of North America.

6:39 jeez, you can see the grade the engine had to climb, pretty impressive for a narrow gauge railway!
This must be old footage because I see that 489 is still a coal-burner. Love the shots!

Some of it is nearly a decade old, but still looks excellent today.
