America's Disney train vs England's Hogwarts Express.
@@I3jeii3j3j3je Neither of those are in this video.
There’s something incredibly imperious about 2816’s whistle as she approaches a crossing. It’s like, “Make way, make way for the Empress.” Love it.
Very good done video :)
Great video! Nice whistle, nice engine sound and no diesel helper!
Glad you enjoyed
Great captures of 30 at the Texas State Railroad 👍
Awesome
Even if steam doesn’t run as often these days at TSR, I’m definitely paying a visit myself some day.
Another great video of the Texas State Railroad.
0:13 sound like the train diesel locomotives horn and whistle of grizzy and the lemmings
See the new biomass fueled locomotives that promise to make freight rail carbon neutral.
I'd be interested in seeing some steam engines pulling trains.
You’re on the right channel
138t was also used in 1982 to 1986herein Green Bay for numerous excursions like the CNW PROSPERITY SPECIAL on the Manitowoc division. And the 1984 HERITAGE SPECIAL on the Fox River Valley Sub for the 350th anniversary of Green Bay from 1634!!; and I made several Audio cassette tapes of the sound effects like the 1385 whistle echoing off the East side hills of Bellevue Wi.; Plus ➕ the long trip North to Escanaba when I chased it on the parallel highway with many photos 📸 and the 2 stallings at Powers Junction when he reversed 2 times and made a run up the steep hill with 2 diesels of F7a's from the Presidents train and several coaches. But sadly 1385 Never got to go West on the Wausau sub through Pulaski or Shawano; but this should have been a Perfect route for both Excursions with steam plus ➕ regular daily commuter train between G.B. and Wausau by using historic Diesels like F7a and Bilevel coaches to recreate the LEGENDARY "FLAMBEAU 400!!!!!" OK!! ALL ABOARD,!! HIGHBALL 👋!! GREEN 💚 EYE 👁!! CLEAR THE TRACKS,!!!!!!!! GREEN BAY 400 EXPRESS COMING THROUGH,!!-! MON. JULY 1, 2024A.D.!! HAPPY 4TH OF JULY THURSDAY!! GOD BLESS THE USA 🇺🇸 🙏 🙌 ♥!!
1385 was also disguised as the 1865 Lincoln Funeral train; with a really bad large funnel chimney; back in the 1970s? For the Illinois tourism bureau TV ad.
It always feels weird seeing 9331 not at Strasburg. I miss those 2 tonners that ran at the burg
9331 has been at Walkersville for well over a decade
Milwaukee Road 6402 may well have hit 100 mph a few months before Scotsman. It averaged over 90mph for more than sixty miles. The highest claimed speedometer reading was 103 mph.
Train 🚂⛰️
Why?😮
Are you a KZreadr train?😂
They move a lot faster than they did when i rode in the early 2000's.

Using this in an edit
My Dad took me on the cog railway when I was a little girl in 1962. We took photos at the summit of Mount Washington. It was a trip I will never forget!
2:02 kinda sounds like German steam locomotive cuffing sound
Ich bin ein sehr großer Fan von dem Spiel TrainStation2. Aber ich finde es immer wieder Atemberaubend, wie so schwere Maschinen so schnell fahren können. Gutes Video. Qualität der Aufnahmen, viel Videomaterial, gefällt mir.
🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🫶
OK that is not bad it's amazing :)
A mi hijo le encanta ver al tren thomas , es facinante.... algun dia lo llevare al tren soy de Peru de una provincia
Seems that quality of a movie has been lost in video to digital conversion. Is there any chance to restore crispness? These a great scenes, and I feel that they may actually have live movie sound, which is rare but very cool. Otherwise, it is amazing dubbing. Nice work in reviewing and narration, wish for better images. I know the stuff from preservation, but not from experience in the era.
18:47 I hope the lionel polar express o scale electric bipolar locomotive uses this horn.
This is the first video I’ve watched on your channel… Subscribed, Love those wood burners!🚂
Welcome aboard
Which American is "York" 17 based upon?
It’s a modified design of Central Pacific Jupiter and Leviathan, based off the UP 119s blue prints.
@@DynamoProductions-trains so in a way, its similar to the replicas at the Promontory Summit NHS?
@@kristoffermangila It is based off the same blue prints, but with a number of cosmetic changes, and she burns oil. The engine is otherwise identical to the 119.
What about Thomas?
Thomas doesn’t Doublehead with other steam engines
Good Job. 👏🏼
Thanks
brilliant trains
What's your favourite train
Whichever one we’re filming
You're the best
What about Percy
Percy isnt a steam engine, Percy is a frame with wheels and a mockup of a steam engine sitting on top. The Thomas shown is a real steam engine converted to resemble Thomas.
@DynamoProductions-trains
I thought Percy is a steam train
No
Okay
Why is Thomas in the video?
Because every steam engine we filmed was supposed to be in this video, which includes Thomas
Oh yeah that makes sense
When I went to the Omaha zoo for a 4H thing I saw the what I think is European train. I thought bit was really cool
Why does the bucksgahuda and western 3 have a truck horn?
Why does the kiski junction 7135 have a whistle?
That is a Hancock air whistle, designed to be more pleasant sounding.
