But, a disclaimer, ‘tis important, in my mind, to distinguish that, the hipster trend was of millennials, circa 2007 through approximately 2014. Maybe it is different elsewhere. But anyway, I am of a notion, that, the young zoomers reject the hipster moniker per se so to speak, even if some of them dress alike, talk alike, look alike to early 00’s hipster zeitgeist. Though I do not know what trendy nickname the zoomers have chosen to replace the hipster moniker with. Because I am old mid thirties millennial, and I have chosen to not bother with it any longer, fortunately.

Not having any Starbucks in Ireland growing up, I first went to one in 1999 when visiting a friend in Uni in England. I didn't realise it was a global chain till my next trip to one in Sydney a year later 😂.

Their hot chocolate is made of low quality imitation chocolate and what tastes like powdered milk. Their coffee is burned. Their baked goods were frozen and then sometimes left out too long. The baked goods' recipes are weird, lackluster or contain 3x as much sugar. Umm, yum, what a luxury! When they get a good item: chocolate squares, chips, pop corn, certain sandwiches, theu let it run out all the time, then stop selling it.
