Depends where in the world you are. I live in Japan but I’m South African. My boyfriend is American. My dad couldn’t come visit me because the restrictions on Africa are different. All my boyfriend had to do was fill out a few forms and his family came over. I think it’s okay if it’s family but if you’re not married then it’s harder (Japan is just a bit backwards like that). You could also try being part of a tour group but then you’re more limited with where you can go

In defence of Bowls, yes it looks duller than a bag of hammers, but its highly competitive Having played at county and national level myself for 15 years, before i took a leave of absence due to excessive work commitments, it was a great experience. Travelling the country, meeting peers of the game (much like wrestling in some ways, also i did wrestle for 6 years as well), it made you a better player being around those of a certain experience (again like wrestling whom you can learn from veterans etc)
