So, theoretically, one can ADD additional animations to the game for modding purposes?

how do you add effects to an skeletal animation like the sword slash 0:09 (for a game i mean), is there any resource to learn this? is just adding some kind of mask to the animation in question after u rigg?

Bind a mesh to the image then push the verts of the mesh so that the image underneth moves to a 3/4 view. Then swap out the pushed 3/4 view to another image that can be pushed to a side view Then swap out the side view for a 3/4 back of the head, then push the mesh to the back view and so on... The cards are easier, you can see them just swapping from a front to back view while using the same mesh deforms mentioned above to skew the image.

@@kserra9112 so the mesh form needs to be closer to the next pose, say front view to 3/4th view for smooth transition....

Its mainly moving the different bones from one side to the other and thenback again, combined with lots of draw order keyframes, and patience!

i think spine is a great program to learn when you just start out. its simple and not overwhelming like MOHO, eventhough moho is also a great program!

Mmmm yes and no. No because moho exports as frames or video. Spine goes directly to the unity or godot. To learn...yeah moho makes some stuff easier, you can even use vitruvian bones and bone dials. But spine is getting better by the day.tlrd spine is harder to learn than moho but if you make things for videogames its better in every way.
