The craziest part about this song is that their guitarist is from a jazz background and almost always improvs the solo so technically you only missed notes by rocksmith's standards but it would be totally legit if you played it live

Do you split the sound of the guitar from the TV/Speaker? Your Guitar sounds really clear! Nice!!

you're not even touching the fifth fret, how are you hitting these notes. are you playing an alternate tab?

I am! I’m cheating and using an open string here. Playing effectively the Rock Band 3 Pro Guitar tab. It’s “incorrect”, but I like playing it that way better.

@@crazymonkey8389 It is actually rediculous to play it hitting the 5th fret, I think live their guitarist plays the open D too

@@Brandon2940 I used to do the open note too but it makes the transition into the phrase where they add the g string into it a bit more difficult/complex? soo I just go for the D note on the A string because it makes it easier to play the full phrase

Vernon Reid -- The Guitarist of Living Colour -- comes from a jazz background, so he almost always improvises the solo. Honestly just play any solo that makes sense in the key and you'll be fine. No reason to copy it note for note, add your own spin!
