    Excellent Bread Maker - I've had a Zo... in the past and it was great but very pricey. The Cuisinart comes with a huge book of recipes and instructions. It works beautifully. I'm highly impressed. I like the fact that it comes with handles on the sides in case you choose to store it in your pantry. The price of this machine is very, very fair for what you get. I love the fact that it is convection air also. My first loaf of gluten-free bread (Pamela's Products bread mix) turned out beautifully and tasted delicious. I love the fact that I can retrieve the little gizmo out before it actually bakes the bread. That way I don't have to dig it out after I bake the bread. It has loud beeps for various reasons, so if you bake during the night make sure your bedroom door is closed if the kitchen is close by. I do like the fact that the beeps are loud enough to hear. I love all the functions that this machine offers, and I highly recommend it if you don't want to spend upward of $200 for a bread maker.     Thank you so much for your clear and simple video. I was very intimidated by the booklet so I got everything ready and followed you step by step. Other videos had so much information on the machine and not on how to actually do it. Good job!

    Nice! I got this machine and love it. I made this exact recipe last night and baked it on the light crust setting. It turned out perfect.

    I got one yesterday. Used today. I think I messed up. I believe the pan wasn’t fixed in so the kneading didn’t get done. Will try again tomorrow

    Just a reminder: Bread machine pans should never be soaked in water. You can leave water inside them for a while, if necessary (and I think that's what NK meant). Just don't place the machine in water or you can damage the paddle assembly on the bottom.

    I got the very first bread machine made it was the BREADMAN IT WAS PERFECT ALL of my loaves and types of bread came out PERFECTLY! I think that the cbk200 cuisineart convection bread maker is making the crust so hard ya break antooth because WHY WOULD ANYONE NEED A FAN IN A TINY MACHINE? THE IDEA WAS FOR THEM TO SELL MORE TO HAVE SOMETHING OVER ON another machine yet in the process the ruined it by causing it to be too cool on the pan so the crust comes out rock hard. Also the beeadman explain an order to adding ingredients so that the paddle knead all of the mix properly and the yeast don't start rising too soon thereby having perfect bread. I'd suggest finding the instructions from the original breadman and follow them it may help but idk. Mine comes out like a weapon.

    Hi! I have the same bread maker, but unfortunately, the instruction and recipe book wasn't there. Hardly I know how to knead but not properly

    Just out of curiosity, have you had problems with your crust around the bottom & sides burning? I have this machine, gifted one to a friend. No matter what bread or crust setting, light usually the bread burns! My friend has the same problem. Then I’ve read other people have the exact same problem. I think this machine has a flaw. I will say the dough cycle works fine. Just can’t bake in it. Thanks! 😊

    At first the underside had a couple burnt areas, but once I adjusted the settings there were hardly any! :)

    @@juguigo1 If you decrease the amount of sugar slightly your dough would be slightly lighter in colour.

    From what I've read, the CBK-200 model was hit or miss. Some of the machines work just fine, but others seem to have faulty thermostats. Mine burns the bread (even on the light setting) unless I cut the bake time almost in half. It's tricky to figure out when to stop it before it burns, but at the same time being sure that it's baked through. I almost always use the dough setting and bake in the oven to avoid that dilemma. I used it to make jam and it worked perfectly the first time. The second time--same exact recipe--it overheated and I had jam all over the inside of my machine. I was able to clean it up, but what a lot of work. I've been afraid to make jam again. I wish I had sent it back when I first bought it, but I was new to bread machines and thought it was my fault.

    @@theweatherisaokay4964 Decreasing sugar in my machine wasn't a solution. I did switch to the Sweet Bread setting for the Honey Oatmeal bread we love and that helped some. Still, I have to shut it down about 22 minutes before the timer says it's finished.

    I can’t seem to get the bread pan out of the machine When I pull up the wire handle comes off. It seems like the clips on the side are so stiff that the pan can’t get past them. Any suggestions?

    Hi there! I would recommend that before you make your next item, check if there is anything underneath like possible rust or clean under the clips so they can easily slide by. Hope that helps :)

    did it taste burnt? and do you think it burned because of the 1 lb size you chose?

    It actually did not! However, I am able to set the bread type to light, medium, or dark. The "light" option will likely have no burnt areas :)

    Since I only made the small, 1-pound version, it only requires 2 cups of bread flour. :)

    Although that bread type does not have a specific recipe in the given recipe booklet, with your own recipe it should work out fine :)

    Not real sourdough bread--there are no settings that will last long enough. However, you can find recipes for making sourdough bread in a bread machine--the starter gives it flavor, but you must also add yeast to allow it to work in a bread machine cycle.
