You know what’s great about bushcraft etc? No matter how many channels I’m subscribed to I still manage to find loads of new things being reviewed. That’s a lovely knife, the spear holes are a great idea, more knives should have those! Thanks to the viewer who sent it in!

Spanish knives always seem to come with good quality leather sheaths. Muela, Cudeman, Nieto...

I had bought the walnut version of the MT5 about a year ago and earlier this week bought the same version (antique micarta) as yours in this video. I never would have thought I would like the looks of white scales but it works really well on this knife.

That steel is known for its stainless properties, and it has a fair bit of toughness...no doubt a well balanced steel. At 90 bucks, this is one hell of a sweet camp/survival blade.

I'm loving ivory micarta with red liners at this price. You would pay 2x as much for an OKC blackbird that is not nearly as classy, and lesser fit and finish to be sure. This is a buy if you're looking for a do everything outdoors knife.

Thanks for the review and reveal of what knife that is, good to know it's a decent knife as well as looking really nice. Like the sheath too. I'm putting that on my list of goodies to get.🔪👍

I just my MT5 in the mail. Birthday gift to myself. Since it’s coming up on the 20th. I got the cocobolo scales and it’s beautiful. I bought it after I watched this video. Been looking for a good all around bushcraft knife and the MT5 is the one I chose.

Only recently discovered Cudeman knives, they are at a good price point here in the UK. I have had my eyes on the Scout model, not quite as heavy duty as the MT5 and i like the spear point blade full flat grind. Should be handy knife for many duties.

I've been into knives since before I was into camping and bushcraft. N695 is a decent steel. It's affordable but much higher quality than the "recycled" steels that have been coming out of China. Edge retention won't be as good as others, but overall very good for the price. This would be a great knife to sharpen in the field for some clips in a future video.

@@Lonewolfwildcamping Good to hear. Are you into folders or fixed blades more? I'm sure I have something I could send you to test out as well. I'm trying out the Gerber principle right now and might pass it along if it holds up. It's a fairly inexpensive USA made bushcraft knife that you can find at Canadian Tire or Wal Mart for around $60-75 on sale.
