ONE PART MILK TO 10 PARTS WATER. The casein in the milk reacts with sunlight to form a natural fungicide so it needs to be applied in full sun.I have used this for 10 years and works great to keep powdery mildew at bay. It works as good as Neem oil . I never thought about adding anything to it but the turmeric seems like a good idea.

I allways use milk and water against powdery mildew. Never heard of adding turmeric but will try it. BUT I have to mention one important thing. Don't add the milk to HOT water!! One of the most important ingredients of the milk which is effective against the fungus of the powdery mildew is the lactic acid bacteria and they won't survive the heat. So don't heaten the milk or use pasteurized milk. You can use yoghurt, whey(not whey powder) etc as well. Another great and cheap recipe is 8 gr of baking powder and 10 ml rapseed oil in 1 liter water. For both recipes spray it at least once a week for several weeks. If you can't see any mildew anymore continue 3 to 4 more times.
